I came across your video and I enjoyed watching. That is really intense just watching the blizzard I'm freezing. I don't know how it feels camping in the snow but I love it. Here at 64 degrees I'm freezing. Stay Safe and Healthy ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much for your kind message! You’re absolutely right, the cold was intense. The temperature dropped to -14°C, and everything was frozen solid. The snow and blizzard made the conditions extremely cold and challenging, but camping in such weather was truly a unique and unforgettable experience. I hope you’re staying warm and enjoying the beautiful weather in Hawaii. Aloha from the freezing cold!

@@Wildcamp.adventure I bet it was unique and unforgettable experience. Hawaii does snow on 2 islands. Big Island and Maui. Big island is 13,796 ft above sea level .There's no camping allowed on the summit only .Have to go lower for cabins. So I can't go camping like you experiencing out in the wild. I wish I could. Well take good care of yourself and I'll be waiting for your next adventure. 🤗🤗

Sounds like an epic experience! 🌟 Camping in the wild hits different, but snow on Hawaii’s peaks is its own kind of adventure. ❄️🏔️ No matter where you are, the spirit of adventure is what counts. ✨ Take care, the next story’s on its way! 🚀

Hot rocks!!!!
@Wildcamp.adventureАй бұрын
I’m not sure what you mean by ‘hot rocks.’ Could you explain a bit more?
@jamesberggren9029Ай бұрын
@Forest-Campp heat large rocks in fire then out them in your shelter when you sleep. When you get up to stoke the fire have rocks that have been in the fire while you were sleeping. Take them put them in the shelter and put the cool ones from the shelter back in the fire so they will be warm when you get up again

Yes, I understand. I also use a hot water bottle on cold nights. Hot rocks are also a great idea, thank you for the suggestion!

man... that's bit too cold for my blood .... especially with a wind chill.... 🥶🥶

Yeah, it was freezing, everything was actually frozen! The blizzard made the conditions even worse.🥶

Its an awesome video. But 2 things i would like to suggest... Why you dont wear gloves? Where is ur sleeping bag? Why you didnt put fire under the tarp so that you can feel warmth? Increase the length of ur videos, after sleeping in night show more what comes next day... Over all its a lovely video especially the wind and sound of ice falling ❤🎉❤
@Wildcamp.adventureАй бұрын
Thank you so much for your feedback and great suggestions! Regarding the gloves, I didn’t expect such a heavy snowstorm, and I definitely needed them. The hike was really tough and long, and unfortunately, I didn’t have space for a sleeping bag. As for the fire, the warmth actually comes through the shelter, so there was no need to bring it closer. If I had, the strong wind would’ve blown the smoke into the shelter, reducing comfort and safety. In the upcoming videos, I’ll make sure to include the following day as well. Thanks again for your constructive comments, I really appreciate it!

I also have a deep love for autumn, winter, and the cold; everything feels more intense during these seasons. Yes, the fire was small because I was in a forest with old, tall trees, and in such conditions, especially during a snowstorm, dry wood is hard to find. Additionally, I had to keep the fire controlled. As for the tent, you’re absolutely right. Since I’m trekking a long and difficult route, carrying a tarp is much more convenient. Thank you for your attention and suggestions!

Where in the US is this? (general area... doesn't have to be specific)
@Wildcamp.adventure24 күн бұрын
Actually, this is in the Hyrcanian forests, located in northern Iran, not in the US. These forests are among the oldest in the world, with a history of over 25 million years. They are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species, including broadleaf trees like beech, oak, and hornbeam. The landscape here is stunning, with unique biodiversity, and it’s a special place for survival skills and bushcraft. Definitely not your typical forest!

Wild camp and forest camp, same locations but different people. What’s the connevtion
@Wildcamp.adventureАй бұрын
I’m not exactly sure which channel you’re referring to. Could you clarify or provide more details? I don’t have information about it, but I’d be happy to help if you can explain further.
I never understood the lean-to type set-ups. Useless in bad weather, Very little protection, nothing to help conserve heat, no protection against blowing wind, rain, or snow.
@Wildcamp.adventure29 күн бұрын
Thank you! You’re absolutely right. The conditions were so harsh, with a heavy blizzard, that I had to set up the shelter quickly, facing away from the wind, just to escape the cold and snow. I built a fire directly in front of the shelter, which kept the inside warm enough. With temperatures below freezing and so much snow, simply being shielded from the biting wind made a huge difference in staying warm.

A tarp is one of the most practical tools for camping and building shelters
@brettbrett9973Ай бұрын
lol . Lots of wind , snolw and rain and you find wood to burn. Light by spark BUT then have a gas burner and Bacon to cook ?Chopping board as well ? Minus 21 , how is that fire going ? lol
@Wildcamp.adventureАй бұрын
You talk a big game, but it’s obvious you’ve never spent even a single night in the wild if this stuff seems so strange to you! Listen, rookie: when it rains, the wood gets wet, but in snowy and freezing conditions, the wood is actually much drier than you’d expect because it freezes instead of soaking. The fire outside was burning continuously, but the blizzard was so intense, with wind whipping in your face, that cooking out there was just impractical. That’s why I decided to prepare food under the tarp using a stove-it was faster and much easier. And let me make one thing clear: my videos aren’t fake, buddy. Everything you see is as real as it gets. Having a fire steel is essential to ensure you can light a fire in any situation, because the gas in lighters freezes up in these temperatures. Now, why don’t you go get some actual experience before making big claims? For now, sit at your desk, sip your tea, and keep daydreaming!🙌🏽
