When you are consistently chunking the ball just move your feet one to two inches closer in your stance and don’t change your swing at all. The height change instantly fixes chunks. If your thining the ball move feet one to two inches further apart.

@@damarapoledna3636 people who chunk and thin generally have the same stance for both woods and irons and have not worked on stance and alignment near enough to be consistent. Widening and shortening your stance 1-2 inches is a quick hack for good golfers who are just having a bad day.

I think the way the modern players practice is also something that hampers players wanting to improve their games. You all seem to want to hit clubs exact distances with little feel for the shots you are attempting. Having a 125 yard club and a 141 yard club puts the thought in your head you don't have any distances in between. Whereas 40 years ago when I was learning the game, I was taught when practicing to hit full shots with all clubs measuring the average distance for each. The second half of practice once you have cycled through all clubs would be to then hit a few shots to the distances recorded for each - but instead using 1 club less and 1 club more than the normal club for this distance, trying to land all shots in the same place. ie: P/Wedge flies 130yards with a full shot, so hit a few gap wedges and a few 9 irons to the same distance varying the flight, trajectory and shape. This alone will bring so much to your regular game that options will open up that you would not have thought of prior to hitting the shots in practice. Watch Wesley Bryan, George, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Scottie Scheffler. These shots also allow you to control spin much more precisely. Love Tig's saying - "when you chop your own wood it warms you twice!"

Henry you’ve got a great swing; you are not striking the ball well because you are getting super narrow on backswing; it’s causing a steeper attack angle. A little more width on the back swing with a bit more hip depth will shallow you out, give you more space on the down swing and keep your club face on path longer. Just a thought btw!

There's no way Mikah could play with the tour pros for several years if he played a 2 ball scramble. Playing from the back tees and trying to hit the fairway consistently with his driver, and don't forget how tough they make those first and second cuts of rough for the players. The pressure of playing his best golf on front of the cameras and crowds of people for two days just to make the cut. The lightning fast greens would make it even harder to put some kind of respectable score together. These youtube golfers don't know what it's like to play under immense pressure at tournament condition courses. You need to perform at the highest level just the make the cut so you and you whole team can get paid. Now do that week after week, month after month and year after year. Not going to happen.
