I love this, It’s sounds very light and pleasant but I wouldn’t call this a lullaby. I was always under the impression that lullaby’s were everything you described but also a simpler version of a song. Less notes but enough of the same elements that the original song is still recognizable in the new. I think it mainly circulates around the time signatures, for example if an original song was in 8bpm drop it to 4 bpm. I Hope this helps! And I hope we get another rendition! 😊

I do really like the little "theory" or rather technique discussion before the actual song. That really helps to no only understand why this arrangements sounds the way it does but also makes me appreciate it more when hearing specific details. Great job!

This was extremely impressive. Not just the song, which showed a delightful ingenuity and twist to an existing work, but also the entire video's aesthetic. The camerawork, editing the video and audio, the lightning and the performance itself all feel high production value. Great work.

This is pure talent right here. Not only did you manage to incorporate your own skills into this score but also made it sound as impactful as the original in a very beautiful way. It has the scenic vibe which transcends you in the world of "The Song of Ice and Fire".

Oh my… that hit deep. After watching your explanation (knowing the OST but not being a fan of GOT), I didn’t know what to expect. Your lullaby is so touching, and the whole video-even though it’s a short one-is incredibly encouraging. Being in your “7-Day Guitar Challenge,” I’m beginning to realize more and more what you put into your music before it can sound that beautiful. And now I finally understand… even if I only want be able to play simple tunes beautifully, I have to put in the work! Thank you! Let’s go 🙏🏻

This is superb! I very much appreciate your approach to this video by educating the viewer of techniques used, giving examples, and why you chose to use them. It really helps with composition thought process and also with applying those techniques in various other pieces we are all working on. Keep it up man, you're killing it! You are without a doubt one of the most inspiring artists I follow.

I'm not a music theorist but from what I think I understand this is more akin to a variation than a full thematic rewrite. I know you ****had**** to make the theme very clear so general listeners would be able to follow the relationship to the original but I think you can go quite a lot farther and be thematically related to the original if you give up this 'necessity'. Some composers take the listener on the journey so that one can realize the development, others just bring in the original theme somewhere near the end so that it forms a kind of encapsulation of reassurance. Either way you have WAAAAAY too much talent to stick so close to the original theme and call it job done. Make a counterpoint or 7 to the original melody. Make a 2nd movement to it. Make a concerto in a countering theme. Do these things and then make the lullaby. I believe you definitely have the chops for that and I think you can have both the 'general' audience and bring people something truly new if you do both.

Overall, beautiful. You did an amazing job. The only thing I might consider changing is tweaking the tempo down just a hair or two in some parts. I tend to think of lullabies as slower and more methodical. You've got the methodical part down pat, but I think bringing the tempo down a bit more in some parts would really expose the techniques you are using in addition to really making this feel like a song that you could easily fall asleep to. Otherwise, this is beautiful and I'm glad KZbin showed me your channel.

You did keep all the rythmic and chord structure -maybe you could have taken liberties with that, too? You didn't really give up the ominous tone of the original. But all in all, it does sound very soft and soothing. After all "A night to remember" is a lullaby and it's ominous as hell, so... It's nice to see, and hear you back. Cheers!
