Wow! The drying difference in the granulating colors is amazing! That is so good to know! Wonderful! Appreciate your videos so much

That's the appeal of acrylics, they dry quickly and you move on. Easy with oil; you continue painting without drying time, in fact that trait among other factors makes it ideal for many.

people think of watercolour as a beginner medium, but it can be more challenging than acrylics or oils for sure!

Oh wow. Thank you for this! You really don't see the differences without testing it out. And such a change with Mars Black! I try not to blow dry unless I'm playing in my journal. Loving your vids! 😍

Thank you, this video helped me a lot! :) I enjoy working on "thinner" light weight watercolor paper and it always buckles terribly when I first apply wet in wet washes, so I have to be patient until it dries and flattens out again. That's precisely why I wondered if I could use a hairdryer to speed up the process, but your warnings prevented me from making a mistak (since I use washi tape to mask the edges and I didn't want this to be affected by the heat).

Thanks Liz for answering my question about hair dryers. I hate using them. If I want to dry a smallish painting quickly & evenly I put it in low oven (about 50°C) for a minute - works really well!! 👍 Love all your wonderful videos 😊💕

Wooo! Baked watercolours? Never tried that. And how badly did I say your name?? Sorry!

So much I didn't know here! Don't have a dryer, so haven't been able to test these things. Pebeo is ok to dry? It's what I use, but I may get a dryer now, because sometimes it takes forever to dry! Thanks so much for this information! ❤️

Hi, thank you for sharing this very useful video 😊. May I ask, I have a hairdryer with a very gentle speed setting. Would that be ok please? And should I use it on the hot or cold setting? I don't know whether to just buy a heat tool. Thank you 🙂
@LizChadertonArt2 жыл бұрын
Gentle warm air is perfect. You don’t need a heat too.
