1st place deck i built SS 1-60 E WW 2-60 R DB 7-60 L SS definitely my favorite release WW build didn’t burst the entire tournament plus bursted SW 3-60 FB for the tournament win DB build got nice last second over finishes and nasty insta bursts plus no burst even with 7-60 ratchet being very loose on DB

me and MDK were testing regular 5-60P it sucked, then we did 1-60P and it sucked against Rod, I practiced with my mom using TP and it was like gold found

we tested saber on point builds thought it sucked then i tried tp as a last resort and it worked pretty good

Out of interest, it looks like you don't swap sides in the matches. Shouldn't sides be swapped to ensure fairness? The launch position heavily effects chances

I believe in B4 Japan whatever side you have you stick to, so some organizers choose to have it like that there is nothing inherently wrong, when I host I try to get it flipped every round it is just perspective on organizer.

@zankye appreciate the explanation! Haven't competed to any degree so just found it interesting. Have you done a video / any tests on performance stats of beys vs which side you start?

So usually on the testing channel when I do with MDK we launch the beys on both sides for whatever we test to see, there is technically a good and bad side but so long as you adapt you can technically work to your advantage, like a lot of rounds I get placed on a bad side but I gotta try to launch in a way to get the max potential

Aiming to knock a bey out of the top is not a feasible win con as it only happens under freak circumstances. from that perspective the main thing that differentiates an extreme and overfinish is that the bey physically leaves the stadium, which is the same as if it is flung out of the top they bey is still fundamentally removed from the field of play which seems to be identical to other win cons
