Captain Levi People complained about the gunplay and cosmetics in BF1 and in BFV we have much better customization and a better gunplay yet people are still complaining, i understand that the game has problems but it’s nowhere near “clusterfuck” as you stated

True but a lot of European countries (to the extent of my knowledge, although I’m not European), at least in the major tourism areas often prioritize English over other foreign languages as a secondary language. It’s probably a combination of factors rather than anything specifically.

Go get a pc then, played over 500 hours, 400 of them are solo queue, rarely encounter toxic people, occasionally toxic text or voice chat but you can block those

L0rdLucky1000 lot’s of people know english well enough but talking in a non native language is something else. It comes down to beeing shy, not liking your own accent, having trouble with a small vocabulary maybe, struggling to express your thoughts decently enough to keep a conversation alive. The people, which talk in a non native language are often a bit more open and search a nice chat - not only some callout style of talk.

if there is one i noticed, people in european and american servers always leave the team when you loose just one round. while in asian servers in my experience, the stick along till the whole match is finished even if you are losing 3-0

About speaking in multi-player games: I've noticed that there are many players whose grasp of English isn't all that great. So it could be a case of people feeling embarrassed/incapable. And of course that sort of thing should be less prevalent in the UK, as well as the USA ... It isn't all that strange, really. France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Russia all have large enough populations that they see their language in a different way than e.g. people living in the Nordics. One example of this is that in the Nordics, we use original spoken language with Nordic language subtitles in films, and TV series (except when they are aimed at children). Compare that with larger European countries, where the norm is to dub films etc. into the local language (or is this changing - I know it USED to be like this at least). This sort of thing makes people less used to hearing e.g. English on an everyday basis.
