Pure entertainment wonderful vid and very humbling for us to watch someone of Ross’s quality play with no tournament pressure on him and you could see a very very good golfer in Bully shake his head in disbelief and awe at the quality of every shot Ross played Also what a lovely feel the vid had to it its like you could be sitting in a bar talking to these two and they would make you feel as if you’d known them 20 years Thank you legends ☺️

go and watch them on the range - it's like watching a machine hitting balls. Hitting 150 carries and every shot is within 1-2 yards of the last. I'm a scratch golfer but it makes me feel like a hacker seeing how good they are!

Lets be honest Ross is about as good as a pro can get before you get to the silly bracket of rorys, dj's etc who are just freaks consistency / mentality-wise. I didnt realise his finishes in majors which are outstanding. What strikes me most is his calmess in trusting what he plans to execute. Jim is f*cking mustard and he looked nervous next to that ability. Best vid yet Imo!

Totally agree, not to go too deep but believe it or not, i also think Jimmy may have been a bit intimated by how his golf quality combined with how upper-class Ross comes across comparitively. Just small details like the way Jimmy said class a few times, and in the green positioning discussion Jimmy referenced Maths. feels like an education level difference insecurity from Jim's side

What a great video. Bulldog was nervous playing Ross even though he is a scratch player. Credit to Ross. Very likeable fella he is, his major finishes are quite impressive too. Have followed his career ever since he won the European Open in 2008 where I backed him at 66/1, was great walking into bookies to collect on the Monday. Has slipped down the rankings but fingers crossed he can climb back up and get few more wins back under the belt. Always thought he could have won a few more tournaments, especially between 08-13. #Golflife #itstheonlylifeweknow 😊

These tour pros are so good it's ridiculous. As a scratch golfer, I sometimes get big headed when I play well, then I watch these guys and it brings me right back down to earth! Makes me realise I'm actually a hacker. And Ross is supposed to be struggling these days. My previous coach once told me there is a bigger gap between a +2 handicap and a scratch golfer than there is between a scratch golfer and an 18 handicap. And top tour pros are far better than anyone off +2. They really are alien to us amateurs.

The only tournament I've been to was the 2010 Irish Open in Killarney. I followed Ross for the final two rounds as he held off a charging Padraig Harrington to win by two shots (-18). Great to see him on the channel

Look at the yardage, how the ball is sitting, wind direction, trouble and pin position. Select shot and club, forget everything else and play the shot. Lovely to watch Ross methodically break down each hole and he kept asking Jimmy what he saw/felt/was trying to do. I think he was trying to get Jimmy to process more before playing his shots. Jimmy you're a star. Come on Ross, let's see you climb, you're good enough especially on links!!!
