Pathetic attempt at sports coverage! Those guys give a clickbate title and trash the Kentucky program and Mark Stoops throughout. This was my first and last watch of anything created by On3. Oddly enough, I'm an Alabama fan and I respect the rise of Kentucky Football over the past decade under Mark Stoops. They were the doormat of the SEC and now, they are consistently one of the best 6 teams every season in the toughest conference in America. Bad, bad job guys!

Dude Stoops is 35-55 in SEC games and 15 of those wins have come over Vanderbilt and South Carolina. Do you know how he gets his wins? Kentucky’s first four wins last year were against Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, Akron, and Vanderbilt. That’s how he always scheduled. Gotta remember there were divisions up until this year so Kentucky played Vanderbilt every year and their permanent opponent from the West was SEC cupcake Mississippi State. Eastern division is gone now and that’s why Stoops tried to hightail it out of town. I’ve lived in Kentucky 64 years. He ain’t foolin me.

Talk all that trash about being this or being that for 60 something years, that’s how I know you’re a fraud. Nobody that has been standing UK football for that long would ever bash stoops for what he has done at Kentucky. You entitled little brats that came up while stoops was building this program now think you deserve more than what he is giving you and want to run him out of town. I think Mitch Barnhardt wants to be the first athletic director at Kentucky to build a football program capable of being a consistent top 15 team every year and maybe even a national title. Because literally every other AD at Kentucky through history always put the basketball program on a pedestal and neglected the football program. Mitch Barnhardt does not do that. What we have seen over the last 6 years or so is a complete rebuild of the football program by Mark Stoops, it took him 4 years to reach a respectable level, in 2018 going 10-3 with a fairly dominant win over Penn State in the citrus bowl. That year was an important part of what is and amazing story of how this program has reached new heights. Kentucky used to be Vanderbilt level for most years, now their beating out programs like Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson, Auburn for recruits. Stoops has built a solid culture at Kentucky that alot of recruits give praise for, and IMO the program has not hit its ceiling, in think alot of people underestimate the university, Kentucky is one of the most prestigious universities in the country, mainly due to the success in basketball, but to think that they couldn't build a championship level football program is naive, all it would take is for one year the team reaching a playoff or making it to Atlanta to play for the SEC championship game and one of the largest most rabid fanbases in the country will wake up and who knows what could happen.

Yeah well South Carolina basketball is way better than Kentucky. Because Lady Gamecocks won it all and that's great. Because Shane Beamer will give us a better chance of winning more games in college football because we aren't expected to make it to the SEC Championship Game and the Playoffs and the National Championship and that's why.
