Yea I agree, the idea is to take some pressure off the qb so he doesn’t have to drop dimes on every throw. If the rest of our offense is playing like a team, and not just who the play is designed for, then I can see Dc doing his part.

The worst thing to do is try to be someone else's offense, Yes, their are some concepts Kubiak will most likely use, but you must create your own identity...The 49ers have drafted alot of YAC guys....Thats not who the Saints have at the skill position!! The Saints have alot of big play abilities at the skill position and they should be able to formulate their own offense and be successful....

Huh? The saints have olave and shaheed those are big yac guys. So are hill and kamara...
@timothywashington8809 ай бұрын
@israeldoe8000 No they aren't, those are big play down the field guys...They are not YAC guys...They aren't taking 5-10 yard passes and breaking tackles..That's not what they are, they're smaller frame guys!! I don't know what you've been watching...Michael Thomas was a Yac Receiver!! Olave and Shaheed aren't breaking Tackles or eluding defenders on a regular basis getting extra yards...Just about every time Deebo, Aiyuk and or kittle meets the first defenders, they're breaking the tackle...Kamara yes, Hill isn't catching balls and breaking tackles on a regular basis...What have you been watching? We don't need to try and be someone's exact offense...Create your own!!

Carr has way more arm talent than Purdy. Carr would win the SB every year with that team. And it’s not like we were that terrible offensively last year. The run game struggled all year but Carr was the #1 rated QB in the last 6 games. And we ran a stop and go against the Colts that worked, but Olave let the ball bounce off of his helmet. Unlike Purdy, Carr threw a perfect ball in his stop and go route, but the receiver messed up.

I think the lack of motion was pretty much at the top of of a lot of peoples criticisms of Pete Carmichaels plays last year. This is how modern west coast is run now and he just wasn’t doing it. Towards the end of the year it seemed like they were running more of these kind of plays and I speculate that may have been Ronald curry’s influence there, regardless the saints win 4/5 to end the year.🤷🏻♂️

@@alphasports3743you know hill play at tons of positions right?
@alphasports37439 ай бұрын
@@israeldoe8000 Using Hill at QB screws up the offense who takes out an HOF QB as in Brees and put in a predictable guy who will run 99% in an NFC Championship game. There were 10 times in 1 season where Hill played QB and turned the ball over either by INT, Fumble or didn't get a first down based on his limit ability as a passer. Now I have seen how SP handled Russell Wilson and I can say SP could have been the reason why Hill never developed into a NFL QB. He never held Hill accountable as a QB he babied him but never adjusted the offense to his skills. If Hill had played with a team who would invested in him as a dual threat QB he would have been better. SP system does not fit Russell Wilson and it didn't fit Hill. So Hill was not teh started at any of the positions he played, just a cheap option at backup.

If we are getting four to six yards on every first down I'm good with that. We're playing downhill after that.

The saints ran more motion with Brees and Payton than any other team and had some of the best offenses of all time then Carmichael took over the offense and just stopped .... I remember when Reggie bush Darren sproles Devery Henderson Colston Lance Moore Jimmy Graham and others were there every play different personnel were coming in and different players motioning on every play it allowed Brees to know what the defense was running created confusion and always had big plays every game as a result
