Dear Rabbi, I am 92 years old and have been asking questions to Rabbis about a large variety of subjects since I was a very young boy. In later years I also lived in Israel for two years. I am fascinated with Torah and our history. I must say that after all my questions for so many years, both here and in Israel, I have rarely received a definitive and convincing reply that clearly answered my questions............that is, until I found your talks on KZbin. I am a member of Chabad for many years here in Florida and wish you were my Rabbi.

When my Father died I called a Jewish line for comfort’ even though we was Christians’ I told my Sister I was not comfortable with what the preacher was praying over my Father on his deathbed before he passed’ A Rabbi returned my call’ and what he said comforted me! I was at peace knowing my Father is still there in my life’ Thank God!

There is life after death, however, I doubt the dead can see the living in real time. How can you be truly happy in heaven (the afterlife) if we can see our loved ones suffering on Earth and cannot help. Plus, there is the issue of time differences, in the afterlife past future and present exist simultaneously.

The Rich Man and Lazarus 19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.20At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores21and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.23In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.24So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’ 27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family,28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ 29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’ 30 “ ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ 31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ” Currently Selected: Luke 16: NIV Highlight Share Copy Want to have your highlights saved across all your devices? WARNING IN BIBLE: 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. 8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? 11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. 17 Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 18 When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby. 19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. 20 Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways. (Ezkiel 33:7-20). Heaven&Hell Exists,Dont be Deceived.

Excellent topic! Did you know that according to Ecclesiastes 9:5, the deceased cannot talk, walk, speak or communicate with us because they are 100% unconscious. For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Our loved ones and friends who have passed do communicate with us, the living. There are far too many documented cases of it from all over the world for it not to be true. Perhaps those who are unable to receive communication from the dead feel left out and therefore continue to deny it happens. They tirelessly seek obscure Bible verses and so called “scientific” evidence to disprove the possibility. They may never have the peace of knowing life continues after death. Bless them.

@@drwn1791 In the Torah sin was atoned for by the sacrifice of an innocent animal. Sin caused spiritual death, a separation from Gods Presence. On the day of atonement, the blood of an innocent animal was sprinkled over the temple. Atoning for sin. The blood in the animal was a temporary cure for death caused by sin. As in exodus when the blood of a spotless lamb was placed over the door frame, so that death would pass over. So does The Blood of the Spotless Lamb, the innocent Son of God restore life to a soul who is dead by sin, so that a person can again live in the Presence of God.

In 2023 also I was scammed out of all the savings I had due to my depression and vulnerability. Now I just live month to month on social security and VA benefits.

If hell is temporary, a process of readjustment, then it's just like purgatory, which is a cleansing and purification process (purge), and in both cases, we ultimately experience heaven. That's comforting to know that hell isn't permanent, it isn't forever. I just hope it's true.

She is an astute businesswoman, linear in her thinking, and the last person whom I would think of as having an ongoing dialog with her spirit guides. As I mentioned, she's anything but candid about her ongoing dialog. I to have experiences with loving, intelligent entities, but not to the degree as my neighbor.
