as a malaysian i do not change my mind set of how great dr wan has put her words into action. in my point of view dr wan is not someone who boast on being the ruler and be the center of global attention for being a women as a leader because she is already a leader. i also think she is not "warming a seat" as how you would call it, for the sake of her husband. anwar was imprisoned because of stupid accusation but not because of his leadership. besides, you dont have to be on top, to put things into action for the country, u can still do it behind the scenes. dr wan would be a great person if she was a PM and she will do great as well for just being the right man of his husband and the rest of the party.

It's funny she said that the judges are appointed by the prime minister because back in 2008 when Dr Mahathir was asked by Stephen Sackur whether he appointed the judges, Dr Mahathir answered this question by saying 'I didn't appoint the judges, the judges were reccomended to me by the Chief Justice and my duty is to check whether he has records or not and after that he presented to the King who will then appoint the judges'

Christ, she's confused with the Hudud thingy..."the declaration that the hudud is not implemented 'UNLESS' all the...things are supposed to be in line 'of' justice are there." So when asked whether stoning is accepted,... Wan Azizah replied, "not in the near future." You see the contradictions at the earlier sentence in respect of the declaration to when being confronted she said not in the near future. She's confused as to whether allow it to happen or not. And I have to believe more on the first sentence because the second sentence is just to satisfy the interviewer's whims, which I cannot totally believe it to be true. If you don't believe you read her way she is giving the first sentence and compare it to the second sentence...the second sentence is abrupt to alleviate the demands.

The fact she can freely criticized ruling government on foreign media is without any backlash from them is show how ungrateful she is, try to do that in Thailand , Singapore or most of Asian countries I think she will be in the courts for contempt even PKR itself not really democratic as Anwar is ketua umum a position which is unelected and anybody criticized Anwar gets the boots (same story as DAP)and they want to teach umno about democracy these peoples make me laughed..

Why she need to be grateful to the government? You sound like pharoah. Let me guess, everyone single person in Malaysia need to be grateful to the government as well right? Because we can sleep, eat, breathe and live. It is fundamental for democracy to work, is the ability to criticise the government without any repercussion. There is no need to be thankful to any mortals, except in my opinion, to be thankful to God. And the opposition did face backlash! Most of them are not allowed to come and campaign in Borneo. Imagine all the opposition controlled states banning BN leader from entering. People like you will go mad right? Not to mention so many opposition MPSs were arrested on ridiculous charges, including Anwar Ibrahim himself. And yet MO1 is still at large.

Adi Ahmad in any country , as opposition leaders they have the right to say against their ruling government. Even in those countries as you mentioned , leaders of opposition parties can say things against the ruling government. Why is she need to be grateful ?
