If celebrating the new year on the Gregorian calendar in a way of Islamic contact and morals is ok as mentioned on the video then way don’t we do this on Hijri calendar? For a believer every day is a new day and living it to the fullest of worship is the the ideal celebration

Pure and simply anything celebrated by non Muslims is haram. Why waste money on new year celebrations when you can save it for the lawyer to fight your honor killing or underage sex charges
