Can nylon replace feather shuttlecocks?

Kawan2 badminton saya semua berlagak, tak nak guna shuttle nylon. Katanya tak bagus & malu kalau player lain nampak. Perangai acah2 star, padahal duit court pun ada yg tak bayar, inikan pula duit shuttle. Sampai skrg kami dah berhenti main. Sakit hati jadi organizer kalau perangai diva sgt

I live in Vietnam and is noticing the same phenomenon with feather shuttle too. It's getting ridiculously expensive and poor quality as time goes on now.

I once invited some friends to try badminton for the 1st time. Used RSL G2 and some normal Duck shuttles to teach them. It is not worth money as they will destroy the shuttle in 10-15 shots. After switching to Nylon Shuttles, no matter how bad they are, the shuttle last for 4-5 sessions without problem. The flight pattern might be a little different, but beginners can still enjoy badminton.

@DavidHofland-b5s Need too many rackets 😅. I used to use 22lbs for nylons. But that one always went loose or brohe before the 24lbs feathers racket. So I'd end up using the feathers racket anyway.

Definitely no. I always say nylon shuttles for beginners. Feather shuttles for everyone else. Why. Nylon great to get started in badminton but bot as you get better. At the stage where you are consistent and have basic skills then feather will push you further.
