I played this exact deck at my locals last week and went 1-2. I was pleased with how it performed and if it wasn’t for waylay on Jango TT I probably would have finished with a clean 2-2. Can’t wait to play it again. Thanks for the video!

the problem is that rarely the opponent is just a mindless brick lol. a simple Waylay would just destroy all the plan for this deck, as for basically every upgrade-oriented deck

That’s why we also have Razors Crest for recursion, we are in theory running 6 Generals Blade if we need to lol

@@MakeAnOpening the problem of that is the pacing tough. Following your examples of Ideal turns, you would play razor crest as early as turn 4 or 5, which is not Ideal, and would also mean to redrop a general lightsaber a turn later, and with plenty of action on between, the opponent has plenty of time to destroy your non-upgraded units, or just go for the base, where any competente aggro deck can finish you in 5-6 turns and can add specforce soldier to avoid sentinels, It seems a fragile strategy. It is also not clear how obi would make this deck better then other Jedi Leaders in same colors. haven't played with this deck tough so i'm no Expert

"Dies to removal" is not really an argument tho

@@MkZuO12345 why not? If your whole strategy is doomed, or at least heavily hit, by a single removal or bounce, then it's absolutely an argument. It's the reason why we do not use heavily priced cards that do not have immediate board impact, or that upgrades are not meta, and the reason why Jango for example is so good cause it can deactivate a unit with a single ping, and the more buffed the unit is the better for Jango...examples are really infinite.

Not yet personally, but Waylay is definitely a scary card, and bounce effects in general
