Brilliant. I have most of these Dictionaries, but I agree the gold standard is the Anchor Bible dictionary, which is my next purchase. Thanks heaps for your presentation. It's a great help and very much appreciated.

@@TheCaffeinatedBible Thanks, I will definitely let you know when I purchase the Anchor Bible dictionary. I'm waiting on OliveTree Software to have their next discount weekend.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. One of the dictionaries I like to use (and read) is the Dictionary of the New Testament Use of the Old Testament by Beale, Carson, Gladd, and Naselli. This is a fantastic resource to use when studying topics addressed in the New Testament to see how they are also used in the Old Testament. I have also found the Dictionary of Biblical Imagery by Ryken, Wilhoit, and Longman to be of great help in deciphering much of the imagery present in the Bible. Keep up the great work!

If I was running out of my apartment and I had to grab two books it would be my Bible and Wilmington‘s Guide to the Bible. And I I chose women just got the Bible because it takes all the major things the Bible puts the mall in the in one section for the title and it makes reading through the Bible so much more interesting.

Wilmington’s is way more interesting than a dictionary as it has less opinion.
