I think this first boy needs some therapy! Seems like he has a big fear of a girl cheating on him... which of course sucks... but when you have someone you know you can trust and loves you, it's different! William probably views himself as a respectful gentleman with "traditional" values. But more likely than not, he doesn't respect women as full human beings. If you are a heteros/xual man who does not enjoy platonic connections with women, please sit with that. Let that sink in. Ask yourself why that is. Don't judge yourself, but question where that stems from. Talk with other people to help you unpack that. I hope he can do some deep self reflecting, take feedback, and want better for himself. What a strange (and common) individual.

@@eagle5818 1. Mate, men and women can't generally be friends. Because either one will catch feelings for each other. There are some small exceptions. Like if both are married and are not doing 1 on 1 meet ups. 2. Not sure how being a Christian goes against men and women being friends.

How can you assume that? He never mentions it. If you follow the logic, men being friends with men and women being friends with women are the most optional friendships. There would be no weird sexual tension if one party likes the other party more.

These guys crack me up. They want a woman to only talk to them but if they’re busy all day they can’t hang out with friends platonically? They can do what they want without question but if their girlfriend misses them they can’t go live their life like they do. I get wanting a traditional woman but be a traditional man and nurture the relationship. If you want a woman to only be committed to you then put in the effort and if she’s right for you then she’ll match it.
