I lost my oldest son (23) to suicide 9 years ago. This came completely out of nowhere, he never had any depression, addiction, nothing. He was newly married. So many unanswered questions. By the time we got to the hospital, he was already deceased. To say we were in shock would be an understatement. I sat and talked to him for a full hour. I hope he heard me. The only comfort ever received was that my dad (who my son was very close too) was there to greet him when he crossed over. I pray he heard what I say and I still talk to him everyday. I have a lot of questions for him one day. 😥

I had a woman tell me that when her father was about to pass on hospice, he lifted his arms up, pursed his lips like he was about to kiss his wife (who has previously passed away). Then during that gesture, he passed away.

My father died suddenly in Dec 2001 in MS, I was at work in MD at 911 helping a young wife thru cpr on her husband. Someone was doing cpr on my father same time in church. Never got to say goodbye. My mother died 1 year ago in CT. I raced to CT to see her before she passed. I was 10 mins away (9hr drive). I spoke to her over the phone even though she was unable to respond. My late spouse was in a chemical coma, air lifted, operated on & within less than 48 hours of him leaving the house Monday morning - last time I saw him & was able to tell him I loved him. I was a le to finally get to him Tuesday about 3:30 - in time for icu to discontinue life support. It took a long time to get my head around the fact he was still with me. And am I doing ok in his eyes. We were working on our home. I have made changes since he passed. I’d like to know he approves of everything I have done since he crossed over. 😊 He had great taste & a good eye for home decorating & placement. He could make & do almost anything. Think McGyver. He was - as he said - “an idea guy”. It’s been over a year & I still miss his ideas, sense of humour & love (in this dimension-physically. ❤

I struggle every day I couldnt be there with my son when he passed. He passed by suicide and he was missing for over a week until he was found. Even then we couldn’t see him. Its heart wrenching to not see him before he left us. It hurts so much to carry it.

I just lost my brother two weeks ago and I wasnt able to be there with him on his last days. We found out he had stage 4 liver cancer within a month from finding out we were told that he only had one week left to live. I live in a whole different state and I am a single mother supporting my kids on my own. So financially it was hard. But it killing me inside with guilt for not being able to be there to say goodbye. I called him to at least tell him that I loved him and I also told him to open his eyes and I was basically demanding him to do it and not to leave me. I just hope that he was able to hear me tell him that I loved him. My father would take his arms and point up high on the wall. He wasn't normally verbal then, but he turned his head and looked straight at me and said "Mom" clear as a bell. I thought he wanted my mom, but I believe his mother (my grandmother) was there to be with him. That was the last time he spoke. He didn't have hearing aids in, do you think he STILL heard us? My niece and I were with him at the time he transitioned. I went outside and saw some swirling ribbon type things rise about the clouds. I'm not sure about that.

I didn't get to be there when my partner passed. Everything went wrong, even to the point of my phone falling behind the radiator, and me not being able to reach it for nearly 8 hours so I missed the calls. I could not get to my husbands bedside as he passed I was on my way but too late, he passed in feb this year and I have been racked with grief over not being with him at the final moments I was meant to hear this so much hurt and pain has left me x

It’s interesting that her mother refused blood transfusion. I was a Jehovah’s Witness but no longer and that a strong belief that they have. I wonder if she was one but looks like her family don’t share those beliefs since seeing a medium is a big no no and wearing a cross is also not allowed. Such a beautiful reading.

What about relatives that I never met that passed on before I was born? I received some burial plots that my great-uncle had, and was able to discover his death date--I inscribed it on he and his wife's headstone, and visit the site as much as I can.
