Can Our MotorCycle Racer Beat The Ashcourt Pros? | Episode 1 | The loading shovel |

The first release of our brand-new series with ‪@Leejohnston‬ ‘BEAT THE PROS’.
Watch as Lee Johnston Isle of Man TT winner gets put to the test as he takes on a range of challenges at our Ashcourt depots, from loading dumpers to operating our biggest 550 excavator. With minimal training, he takes on our Ashcourt Pro’s and challenges them to multiple tasks in order to beat the pro and "Get A Job".
The pilot episode of LEE JOHNSTON’S BEAT THE PROS starts at our Pocklington HQ site, which involves driving the Volvo L150H around our self-made course that will re-enact what the day in the life of a loading shovel driver would experience. This includes filling the dumper, changing the bucket and loading the sand into the aggregate bin. All of which sounds easy, however can be a difficult task for someone with no experience of driving a loading shovel.

Pretty good for minimal training. I haven't driven one that big. But have some front loader experience. It takes a while to become accustomed with the controls. And that thing is all buttons. Small motor skills, like a gamer. I am more used to machines with levers. Old school. To complete the tasks alone. Good job.
