I try to begin the cut off at 74-75hz @12 or 18db

I've got one of them Infinity Primus 12's with the box (plug and play) units. It's an extremely good example of a sealed box tuned exactly for the sub. It seems like it will play damn near anything and has incredible SQ. It doesn't beat the block down but at 500 RMS it plays anything all day. I put it in a much larger sealed box and it lost some thump and SQ for sure. Doesnt sound happy without it's priority box.

if my box is tuned to 28 what should i cut my subs off at, if it matters they have Fs of 26 and the response is 20-900hz. i have the filter set to bewtween 80 and 90 currently, thanks for any advise

do a sweep with a tone generator, when it starts losing output set crossover there

Is the VAS closely related to the air-spring required? I typically build my boxes by VAS+1 extra cube depending on how deep I want the bass.

Im looking at audiomobile, hybrids technology legatia, or stereo integrity sql. 1 is a true sq. (Legatia). Audiomobile and Sql. Im looking at sealed, down firing 15". Powered by a lanzar (zed made) 500.2 (almost 1300 wats bridgd). Gen 3 tahoe. Wanting the high output to be up aro60 80 hz. Your thoughts?

getting a sub to play comfortably at 80 would usually mean sealed, or IB

@CarAudioEnthusiasts I'd be sealed most definitely. These three seemed to have the frequency response I am looking to get. Don't want boom, want bass. An a/b at almost 1300 could do it or my ppi pc21400 could. Debated 2, 12" or 15" on that. Loved the wind and having various parts rattle of in my teens and 20s. Accurate reproduction is the game at 47..😅👍.

@CarAudioEnthusiasts have an 02 tahoe that's loosing the 3rd row foe what I need. Some of the higher brands play in smaller space but there's the trade-off in $$$. A 4 cube box is an easy fit. I do like Adire subs but power handling is low except for the brahma. I've heard it and didn't like it but never checked the correct volume or power/supply...
