About Impractical Jokers:

he's out of character a lot when the camera's aren't around but he's very old school when it comes to kayfabe keeping character as much as possible when cameras are on him. a lot of wrestlers are like that it's just easier to notice when a heel is in character since they're acting douchy but a face being in character just seems like the average nice person walking down the street. but if you watch the episode there's a few parts where you can see him trying not to laugh

The chest chop is one of the least "fake" wrestling moves, by far. There is only way you can get that loud, slap sound. You have to actually slap the crap out of the other person's chest.

He broke character 30 seconds into the start.. the minute the chops were brought up.. he has his hand in front of his face because he is laughing and doesnt want people seeing. He also allows his new york accent out more. Once he broke you can tell he wanted revenge thus the suggesting doing the chops as it would make him look heelish again. If you watch interviews he breaks more than you think. His natural smile is a break.

I only just found out recently that Joe left and finding mixed news stories on why he left so I can't find a straight answer to that but seeing these clips with random Celebs on it it just doesn't look like the same show anymore. I know they are doing it to replace the 4th member on their team but it's not the same.
