these are the kinds of issues I've had with using AI to code in general. It saves a lot of time, but as soon as you do something iterative problems start to emerge. I'm trying to learn how to create the necessary guardrails. Kind of hope that is what Cursor, Replit and others of these apps do. BTW, excellent resource Ray. You should feel proud and excited!

Hey Ray! 👋 Did you ever figure this out with Replit and/or give the team feedback on the issues you encountered? Also, do you know when they're going to support NextJS, NodeJS, and React directly in Replit Agent?

I’ve given them feedback and for now they have limited the scope for the alpha release. I’m planning to do more streams with Replit to do cool things like make slack bots and other useful things I need for my business.

Perhaps the KZbin URL that you specified was a shortcut -- the agent may have been looking for a properly formatted KZbin URL. I have not watched your entire stream.

The agents usually do a first pass on the code and you have to give them things to fix with different URL varieties.

Thank you Ray! I have a feature request. Do you mind creating an app to create a super cut version of your videos and add chapters for each section. Watching the whole stream is great when I have time but I hard to skim at the moment.

I love this idea and I've started making an app to generate chapters for the sections. I just uploaded the description with the chapters for this video about 5 mins ago. I'm working on finding a full time editor to help me trim down the content to smaller bits to make it shorter and get to some of the points. It will be helpful to know what you have found insightful in my streams so I can focus the editing to help people who are going through similar issues.

What does replit do beside what cursor do? I still dont get it... is it for hosting the app or website

Great questions. Replit will host the app and website in addition to letting you code with ai (Claude Sonnet 3.5). The agents are a feature in Replit to start a project. Cursor is standalone similar to other IDE’s (Integrated Development Environments) like VSCode or Jetbrains. The next step after coding with Cursor is figuring out where to host the code and deploy it to a server.

@@RayFernando1337 thats amazing explanation... as im a designer, i feel lost somehow with im still struggling why we need so many things in order just to get one product ... code platform, host platform, storage platform, automation platform... cant we just do everything in one songle platform?? If it possible with integrated ai could you show us how?? Like im thinking of creating pdf manager system for educators but i cant find how i can achieve that even seeing all cursor ai videos 🙃
