The difference in the US and the UK, Ireland and many other countries is that our electrical outlets (North and Central America) run on 120v, in the UK, Europe and a few other countries they use 220-240v which can be far more fatal than our system in the US. We also use GFCI outlets within so many feet of a water source. So our bathrooms typically have outlets with mini breakers on them that protect us from getting a severe or fatal shock (unless your wiring is very old). Our home is only 13 years old and we have GFCI outlets in our laundry room, bathrooms, one entire side of our kitchen where the sink and dishwasher are and our garage since it is below grade level and has a large tub sick in it. I completely understand why you would not want a wall plug in your bathroom in the UK.

I put this tape across the top of a little wooden TV table. (The kind that you put your dinner or snacks on while you’re watching television and it folds up for storing.) Then I put my bird’s cage on it. It holds it nice and tight so my cat can’t tip the cage off when he wants to “visit” the bird. It has been working perfectly for about 7 months now. But, Vivian, I’m really glad to know about it not being reusable!! ❤️

Hi Vivian, I live in London England. We don't have plug sockets in our bathrooms here either, it is against building regulations due to the condensation and damp that occurs. We also have either light pulleys to turn on and off the light in the bathroom or some homes have a light switch on the wall outside the bathroom. All lights and electrical fixtures that go in bathrooms here have to be specifically made for bathrooms. Hope that helps with you question. According to the NEC(National Electrical Code) book, any electrical outlets that's in the bathroom or near the sink in the kitchen, or in areas that water can splash has to be a GFCI(Ground Fault Circuit Interruptor) outlet. That way if a splash from water or there's an imbalance in the circuit, it will trip the breaker in the GFCI to prevent shocks. They may not have that in Ireland.

Hi Vivian, we have plugs in the bathroom in The Netherlands. It's not near water, but we have it. I love your reviews.

The tape was a fail, but I really enjoyed your Q & A at the end.

Wish app Apple peeler and corer.. I bought one for my mum, and she LOVES IT.. we have done peaches, zucchini, apples, and even pears. It's pretty amazing. It not only peels and pulls the core, bit it makes the fruit into a pretty spiral ring..

Thanks! I was seriously considering buying that tape for hanging lightweight paintings on canvas.
