I was living in a place called Chomedechalan right new to the mall with the buses in An Pedro. They say it was heavy gang territory but everyone was so nice and I never saw crime. I was there for three or four months.

Hola. This video is me going back to EL Salvador. Metapan sounds like a wonderful place. Maybe one day.

@@JayCeeMax that’s good to know that your going back to El Salvador. Metapan is a nice small town with lots of history. All the houses are painted with CAL. Which means the majority of houses are all white. It’s colonial. It’s the safest place in El Salvador. I know you have been in many tough areas and you can defend yourself. But Metapan is a nice town where you can drink your nice cup of coffee viewing the mountains of Montecristo. I really do highly recommend it. Please let me know if your going so I can tell you which restaurants to go. They have A really nice basketball arena. Soccer is huge there. Very nice neighborhoods since a lot of residents made their way to the U.S many years ago and started building their own houses in Metapan and now it’s the biggest town in El Salvador with a healthy life.

Great video, again! So many things we could talk about in a day, if we were friends! Wow man, you are really digging into Honduras. Good for you, for the world! Enchilada, as everyone else said already, it is like what a Tostada from a TexMex restaurant in the US is, however, it is not quite the same, the only thing they share is the "fried tortilla/Toasted tortilla(Usually fried)", that is why the name". Tortillas change over regions and Honduras is not the exception. The Honduran fried tortilla is very different. Home made white corn tortilla, you could find them at Walmart, but still quite no the same, instead, you'll get what we called: "the generic ones". So, Honduran enchiladas are more like a home made tortilla whit the texture like in a crispy chalupa from the Bell, Taco BELL!!! , with cabbage, beef, potatoes, egg, tomatoes and maybe something else. They are amazing and messy, but worth it. On the other hand, "enchilada(one), enchiladas(2 or more)" is a very different plate in MX or the US. Enchilada, meaning like: "ON FIRE, from the words: chile!!, picante!!, diablo or just, "hot sauce". More like a tiny corn greasy burrito with red sauce and ground beef in it. So, SAME NAMES, but different plates! GOT IT? hehe. I am from Honduras but I live in the US. Nice channel and great videos as usual!
