Wool is going to make a come back because there are already articles about polyester fibres and lung health. Add that to the flammability issue of plastics and wool is superb .

At $1.20/kg these options may be viable for investors and businesses, but the farmer needs $4 - 5/kg to make a profit. And if the farmer can't make a profit, then there's no future in wool.

Saw a wonderful episode on Country Calender regarding a sheep station using their wool for lounge filling instead of synthetic foam and for many other uses as well. Funnily enough they supply our long time local furniture place called Kovacs in Ferrymead Christchurch 🐏🌏💖

Best product i seen wool used in insulation in walls think it work as body armor too with right mix rizen then wool be back on top

Wool is never worth nothing at the very least it could be used as high quality insulation sheets or even blown into cavities in renovations.
