Copenhagen looks amazing. There are several cities in the US that could do the kayak trash pickup. I would be a interesting way to explore the city and clean up the environment.

Very interesting stuff which I haven't seen on any video until now. Definitely worth checking some of those places, hopefully they are not super expensive.

Denmark is expensive, especially Copenhagen. Reffen food market is not that expensive, but normal restaurants are. You can make a picnic in one of the many parks and even enjoy a beer or a glass of wine, if you want. We don't have any open container law. But public transport can be done cheap, there are many options, for god’s sake, don't take a Taxi. Search KZbin for transport in Copenhagen. Lots of videos. Most museums and castles are in a reasonable price range. Accommodation can be expensive. In city center it is, but many things are in walking distance. You could look for places further out. Look for one close to Metro, S-train or bus. It takes "no time" to the city center.

It's not like that at all, they are all doing it, it's a part of their culture, the schooling system and upbringing, what you may perceive as weird, eco friendly and new is actually very traditional for them. A different mindset oriented towards nature, hiking and swimming, preservation of nature and living surroundings and taking good care of people goes without a question as a default.

@@Gert-DK that's not what he said - he said we don't use our brakes 😉 The "peletons" of bikes comming in over the bridges at 20 k/h on a dark morning can by quite scary, if you're not used to bikes. Foreigners driving cars in Denmark are typically scared of the bikes - "they are everywhere!" - and so they should be 🤣

@@ane-louisestampe7939 I am a former truck driver. Right turns in trucks among cyclists, that's scary. Yeah, foreigners are not used to it, but that's life. If I were to drive in the UK, I would not be used to drive in the "wrong" side. 🙂

Looks like an interesting city with some great ideas. Unfortunately, the cold weather prohibits the many uses that the city pushes. Snow and cold weather are, I am sure, around for 8-9 months of the year.

Actually not. No matter what the weather is, we still use our bikes. There is only snow about a week a year. We have a saying in Denmark: There is no such thing as bad weather, only wrong clothes.

You just need to wear a few layers and a good jacket. Cold weather is great for outdoor activities, especially cycling. You can be as active as you want and don't end up sweating like crazy.

Meanwhile the average Dane admit as much CO2 as 17 Indians... But hi, at least they use cycles lol.
@aviefern

Where did you get that statistic? Average Indian: 1.89 tons Average Dane: 6.66 tons That's 3.5 times, not 17 times.
@Real_MisterSir
@Real_MisterSir 8 ай бұрын
Yet 100x more Indians (per relative ratio) die from air pollution each year. It's about what sample size you compare. Sure, if half the world went back to live in the woods we would also cut CO2 drastically - but relative to the technological level, Danes produce far less CO2 than the average equally developed nation (of which there aren't many).

A pleasant, easily understood and presumably intelligent young presenter. Pity about the dog-chain clip in the nose and the slave ownership brands on the body. But that's the modern generations for you. Folks fought for centuries to rid the planet of same and now it reverts to being an In trend. 🤔🙄
