It also depends on the comp they're running. Being that most of the time they had either a Zen or Lucio, it is up to her to do the raw healing.

As a sym main player, they need to work on their turret usage better. They kept getting destroyed because of how he was using them or placing them. With sym you kinda have to know when to be aggressive vs passive.

I will say, I haven't disagreed with Emongg so much in a Spectating video before. Really, however, my biggest concern with this is the turret placement. Set up turrets before a match starts, and put them in places not immediately in line of sight of the enemy. That, and please, please don't just toss them on the floor or at eye level. Put them up on walls where enemies need to turn and look up to destroy them, not where the enemy tank doesn't need to turn their aim at all to blow them up while shooting at you and your team. Also be aware that the enemy can see your turrets as they travel, which reveals exactly where they will be when they land and make them easy to shoot down. Lastly, spread them out. I see so many times all three turrets sent out one after another and in a matter of a second they are all gone, leaving you without any for a long period of time. I have many other concerns in moment to moment decisions but that is the big one that I see throughout the whole match.

10:55 I feel attacked here, I am that annoying sym. Although when I play Zarya I have somewhat of a brain and be aggro when I have both barriers active. With sym I just charge in and get a team kill.

Yeah, sym is such an underrated dps because she charges on tank and melts Squishies. Her one and only problem is junk rats and sky rats. And maybe Moira if you isolate yourself

@ one of sym’s other problems is if the enemy team grows a brain. If the enemy team has a brain you get melted so fast, if you have a brain and flank the only way to get melted is if they turn around.

@dartimes6048 well, the only way that can happen if you stick with your team is if they have rats or if you have an ash/widow setup that can focus you without having to go through the metric health pack known as teammates lol, that being said there are situations where you get the worst soloq teammates, then she falls pretty quickly

Sym gets way more value out of left click. Sniper Sym is strictly worse. She excels up close, at that distance you get more value out of other heros.

congratulations to lickmytoes and SOUPIE! for their upcoming wedding! (and of course emongg and his lovely future wife as well). i wouldnt normally comment on another players gameplay, especially when there wasn't any commentary from the submitter about them being toxic but the amount of unnecessary rezzes/failed rezzes was genuinely so frustrating to watch i can't not mention it omg SOUPIE! im sure you can become a much better mercy if you can learn that it's okay to let your man stay dead when he dies in a bad position! it's better to stay alive and continue to provide support for the rest of your team than die trying to rez him! even if it works sometimes, it's going to stop working the more that you guys climb together. he might be able to solo pop off at this elo, but he is more often than not going to immediately be punished right along with the rest of the team and it will result in more team fight losses which can lead to game losses. a sym who doesn't die with a mercy who ALSO doesn't die is so hard to counter and i hope you guys both climb back to diamond and further soon!!!! ❤

Symmetra is a hero I really hate playing against. I hate that they can run at a straight line & do damage and the game buffed that ability. They can be extremely annoying to deal with, especially with mercy boost.

constantly jumping sniper Sym :D this guy doesn't even belong to diamond tbh, his shield placement is terrible, don't use turrets correctly, not using angles for either of these, gets mercy pocked and rarely uses it, good teleports though, this is the only thing that makes him plat and not gold player. I'm not trying to bash on this guy, but you can't be serious consider yourself in masters. That is just ridiculous, not to mention being Sym one-trick is ridiculous itself :D

I legit don't understand why 'sniper' Sym isn't good, it applies a ton of pressure/damage if you aim well, then when the enemy approaches you switch to leftclick and punish them. If you just walk in trying to left click you'll just get focused and feed? Unless you have a god tier tank and healers.. Just feels like worse Reaper?

But yes, it's difficult to be up close, and a good team helps a ton. You can't really do it if your whole team is poking. Tp is how stay alive on the Frontline. Or backline.
