I really appreciate someone with your skill taking the time to really think about the budget themes and how to build them the best. Tons of budget build decklists out there that are thrown together last minute for content and never played even at a locals. This is the kind of stuff that can bring an old hat like me back and trying new stuff out.

Great deck! The only thing that bothers me is dimensional barrier. That's why I play Fishborg Harpooner and Adamancipator Risen - Dragite in the side deck

Man this deck plays so much better with seventh tachyon, 6 more copies of surfacing big jaws (thanks ascension) that are also spells to turn on its special summon and puts back bricks like FBG targets, armored xyz cards, remora, drake shark, etc… Shame it won’t be budget anymore, no way tachyon won’t be expensive

try out a small world package and throw in a sea turtle kaiju and ghost sister as bridgers using extra veilors. Also, I play a small Umi package as well for floodgate effect.

whats your opinion on playing Full Armored Crystalzero Lancer, so that you can guarantee, that the dark knight lancer has two materials to detatch for remora (if you go rank 4 into fortress, detatch, into Crystalzero into Dark knight)? its effect is also quite good going second.

Very cool and insightful list, and happy to see you give our beloved shark deck some attention! My question to jesse is what was the thought process of playing only 2 armored xyz cards? I like running 3 so that xyz armor fortress can almost always detatch 2 and so that i have a copy of the equip spell to discard for ray lancer or leveiss. I get that remora can detatch from armor fortress to make his rank up live, but it feels more comfy to detatch 2 from him for me so that it's live even if 1 of them goes to hand with no way to get to remora. Especially when going 2nd for a potential guaranteed otk with leveiss. The same goes for drake shark as i like running 2 in case 1 ends up in hand or banished from desires. I know it's a brick and recyclable, but the deck has a bunch of free extenders already that i feel like running a 2nd to almost guarantee it being in the deck/gy/hand even is pretty solid. And VERY happy to see you using armored shark. I feel like people underestimated that card a lot on release, and even now. I'd also like to hear your thoughts on a ryzeal shark deck with sharks being the main focus of the deck and ryzeals being there as another engine that you can extend with or start with, with small world in the deck as an easy bridge to surfacing big jaws while at the same time fulfiling his special summon condition. Of course, you'd probably have to take out all 3 abyss sharks, but the ryzeal engine should supplement the loss of them.

I really would want to see how the primite engine works in this deck. But also by the time you can get the first toad out, you can always go for the second toad as i always do if idk what im going against. sometimes sacrificing kragen for another omni. I also main crossout bc i play 12 hts. I am still figuring out the foolish engine. Crystal is one of my least favs next to shark drake as it is a very bad brick with only abyss and itself in hand and no other way to extend. Also without fuwalos, i no longer play small world but instead opted for the fusion pkge with 2 rare fish and mudragon.
