external hatch on kitchen site is 100% safe to reinforce if you have someone in meeting room with the window open when the round starts. It's impossible to kill them outside because there is no spawn on that side of the map and even 3 speeds are too slow if you jump out immediately when the round starts but you have to use the meeting window

Or you could use it as a bait... Reinforce the wall left the hatch... Throw Razorbloom at ceiling when they drop down.. They will trigger razor

I reinforce Freezer Hatch every time. No threat to getting hit if you come from meeting. Also, if Kaid is still on the board, one claw at the light in the freezer gets the hatch and two side wall reinforcements.

Yep, thats 100% the strat i always like to do on that site when im playing kaid. preplace the claw next to the light and immediately get up to meeting room and run out and reinforce when the round starts.

Happy to see you post about nighthaven setups. I think the kitchen hatch reinforce from meeting is getting a lot more common for setup nowadays cause holding freezer especially if you can Kaid it is really strong.

This is exactly why it was a good idea to make the new map unable to be banned. People actually learn the map and end up liking it. Let's be honest for the most part everyone bans the new map as they don't know it well enough.

Fun fact about the hatch thats above kitchen you can actually reenforce in time as the round starts just make to have the meeting window open i’ve yet to die reenforcing the hatch

My team definitely gets pantry hatch every time. We play pantry half reinforced with a step-up ifyou need to scram. Also, upside down rappel with Buck on the east meeting window because if you get control and Buck that floor from the window, you're almost completely safe and a massive headache for defenders.

It would also be great to see specific operator recommendations for each site (which roamers, anchors, flex ops you would recommend and why).

5:35 we leave those 2 walls open with footholes. If theres no Buck/Ash/Zofia, they fail there, 99 out of 10 times. And even if it gets opened by them, you still have the door and the wall to peek, while they only have one big ass door they gotta walk through! But u gotta make sure *electric door & IT doors* have no direct line of sight onto the desk side of A site. I'm gonna try the connector/server rotate tho! 😁Looks fun.

On the first site, instead of reinforcing both cc walls u could keep the left one (if ur looking at it from in the site) soft and make feet holes

Alyttleton I think that the vert play is very strong on the sites like kitchen/cafe and control/storage, in control/storage you can get an angle into the window from the 2f IT/"main breach" covering the default like plant. On kitchen/cafe you can get vert onto the hallway door near the 2f meeting room doorway and you can get a line of sight onto the vending stairs door from the blue carpet in connecter. I really liked this video and I have used the consulate C4 so many times with success that it is part of my consulate routine.

Command center hold is interesting from my experience since nobody on attack assaults the helipad walls they mostly come through connector or IT

01:58 you could shoot the floor and you can defend 1st floor window from above. Many people use that window to go inside.. Or play pulse and use c4 from below if they breach reinforced wall

what I do with the aqua stairs walls is to keep the left wall soft and put foot holes and that leaves you with an extra reinforce

incase ya didn't knew, exosuit room has a hatch right by the first 2 exosuits close to the pillar, which in the room above is the vending room

I’m not a fan of storage on defense, but love attacking it! Just bring flashes, nades, gridlock, maybe ying or grim, and ace. Ace open the IT room to put pressure on the roamers above so they are less likely to play the vertical game. Ace open the warehouse (which usually never has wall denial on it). If it does, you can just open doors and make noise. He’s really just a distraction. Send the rest of the team to the storage window. Drone it, flash them, nade them, shoot them, rush in with 4 people if needed, or just take your time and repel above the window and work the picks for anyone aggressive enough to peek. Like there’s so many ways to kill everyone in there from that window. It might take time if they stack up wamai disks and Jagers. But in the end, if you play it right, you have at least 3 people hopping in that window and playing for trades which should give you the advantage. Then, once you clear the room, it’s a simple gridlock smoke and plant. I like that rotate you made in there. I don’t see that often and it might provide an opportunity for a c4 to deny that push. But it’s definitely the weaker site on the map to defend, in my opinion. Great video! Cheers! 🎉

As I think about it, the last time we attacked there we brought Buck who went above and bucked out above the plant to cover against the defuse. That worked pretty well so I’d suggest that as a support too.

if kaid is banned you reinforce them 2 walls and bring castle to block the door then when they drop hatch they still got to get through castle barricade if kaid is in play you get hatch and just reinforce right wall so can watch vending

Upstairs I don’t think it’s worth it to reinforce the walls in connector to the outside and the walls that go towards fish tank should have foot holes so you can easily look from rafters through the vault into site for the feet and kill anyone in that hall pretty freely

That doesn't mean it sucks. You have to attack aswell. The game is already defender sided because attackers are against the clock and they have to push into defender set ups. Nothing wrong with an attacker sided map. Nighthaven seems quite balanced on either side.

@@madanalym4165 if the load out and gadget between attackers and defenders are balanced sure why not but as example most of defenders have only access to 1x mean while most of attecker have access to 1.5x and above thats a huge advantage also the guns on the atteckers waaay stronger than the defender have so yeah its not balanced ;)

@twisst You're saying it sucks because it's attacker sided. That's OK, everyone has to play attack and defence anyway. So it balances out that way. Also, attacker weapons have better DPS , defenders have higher fire rate guns, in a one shot headshot game. Fire rate is king. Also defenders get to set up the site/map how they want, woth traps, gadgets, cameras, c4 from below etc etc etc. So yes the game is naturally defended sided. ;) But again, winning on attack happens. The game is more balanced than ever at the moment.
