I normally don't listen to covers of bands that hold a special place in my heart, mostly because I have such fond memories of the originals that I don't want to hear someone tarnish them. But you all did The Sundays justice with this. Thank you for showing such respect to the music.

Same here. I used to listen to Blind reading the Silmarilian back in 93, and I still listen to them on a weekly or so basis. And them B sides are sometimes better (Nothing Sweet) then the great songs on the albums.

Huge fan of Sarah and this show..Even bigger die hard fan of The Sundays. Harriet Wheeler has the most incomparable angelic voice and great job covering this song for all us Sundays fans.

The subtle creativity of incorporating the banjo and violin (not to mention her voice) makes this a great cover to a great song.

Wonderful cover. No one can sing like Harriet Wheeler, but Sarah Jarosz adds her own vocal flare to it, as do the band. With the country elements, I'm reminded of The Waterboys in their Celtic era. Well done!

I love how Sarah opens her eyes wide scanning the audience to access how the lyric "England my country, home of the free, such miserable weather" goes down with the midwesterner 'Minnah-soh-tans'. That was kind of a tell. LOL. As an aside, I love The Sundays and I think she just killed this tune.
