4 crabs are what I call toaster oven crabs. Clean first, than drizzle some olive oil over them, spice em up, and add a pad of butter to cavity. 400 degrees for twelve minutes. Oh yeah. Up in Maryland, that big crab is worth 15 bucks steamed.

Hay Tony hope your New Year started off well and will continue to be well. So I recently found you and love seeing you catch crabs lol. Are there other crabs such as "Jonah Crabs" in Florida near you, and if so, can you do a video on how you catch Jonah crabs and Stone Crabs. That would be great. 👍👍
@CrabbingWithTony9 ай бұрын
Hello. We have stone crabs in Florida. Unfortunately, I don't have a boat to target and catch those specifically.

Hey Tony, I’m headed up to Jax tomorrow and Saturday(12/29 and 12/30). Let go crabbing dude! I’m gonna bring up my topless traps and a ring trap. I’m definitely going crabbing! Just let me know if you wanna go
@CrabbingWithTony9 ай бұрын
Whats up! I haven't been out lately. The cold weather has slowed the crabbing down. You have a kayak, and might be able to get to them.
@How_I_Caught_Crabs9 ай бұрын
Yeah I picked a bad time for the trip, it was cold as hell! But I scouted out some great spots on the way home… Shoreline crabbing for a warmer day. Hope things warm up for you soon

@LilTonyDaddy22 You got me then. I know whiting look like a smaller, white redfish without the spot. Like I said it's been years since I've caught one. If you catch another, keep it and carry to a bait shop. Maybe someone there will be able to identify it. I'm surprised no one has called it. My curiosity is piqued.

Hey Tony I got a question. I’m trying to buy 5 crab traps. Do you like wire traps more than mesh? Also, the lines that come with the net that’s pre installed. Do you put your own lines to make it more sturdy?
@CrabbingWithTony6 ай бұрын
I answers those questions in my videos. Please watch them. I do buy my own lines.

Try using "circle hooks" if you're into catch and release when it comes to the fishing..less likely to be hooked deep anyways.

Hi Tony! You're a trooper, continuing in the rain like that. And you're a kind man, letting those crabs go at the end. I'm sure you had some fun catching those great big ones. The females are so pretty with those bright red claws. I enjoyed watching that great big one snapping at you in the grass. He was even jumping at you. So feisty! Is it courage or foolishness? Either way, it seems brave of a little crab trying to attack a big man. In any case, have a good week, my friend. Looking forward to your next crabbing adventure. (By the way, I'm hoping to get one of those wheeled carts for crabbing too. Maybe in the spring. It's getting too cold here in Washington to go crabbing in my opinion. See you later.
