Lauren, hope you have a speedy recovery. Be thankful you live in a time when the hernia operation is available for women after childbirth. It's a very common procedure nowadays. It's definitely a modern blessing. You did a fantastic job bringing the two precious new children into the world. Glad you are not afraid to let other women know it's okay to still breast feed babies when you are able instead of just giving the babies formula instead.

Lauren take it easy. PLEASE!!! Take your time and get better. When you are back to a 100% you can be a 100% for your family. I'm a mom of 3. My oldest is 14 and my youngest is 5. I've had 3 c-sections. My first 2 are 2 years apart. I remember trying to do too much to soon because I was a new mom and I wanted to take care of my family. My recovery took so long because I was not taking care of myself. My husband was a big help, but I felt like I didn't want to be a burden. It wasn't until I had my third child that I really had to take it easy. I'm an older mom and the third pregnancy and c-section took a serious toll on my body. I had no choice but to take it easy. Just do what you can and don't stress about the rest. Your body has gone through a lot. You need to make sure your nutrition is good and that you are getting as much rest as possible. I know it's not easy with 3 little ones especially the twins. But that has to be your focus. Let as many people help you that are willing to help. You are not taking advantage of them and you are not being lazy. You are recovering. Bringing life into this world is not a small thing. And it's not a small thing on your body. Just because we women commonly give birth doesn't mean that it's easy. It's just a common thing. And if you had given birth by c- section its even more necessary for you to rest as much as possible and to make sure you are getting the right nutrition. God bless you guys!!!❤❤❤❤

Time will be your best friend as I know because years ago I was in a similar situation. Soon you will be taking those babies and Callie out and about showing them off to the world to see in all your your glorious joy feeling better than ever. Small eggs are good as pickled eggs for one. There are several conversion charts that will tell you how many small will equal 1 large for baking. There are recipes that only want egg yokes and you can freeze the whites for use as a egg wash or baking white only cakes. Cracking 1 or 2 more eggs isn't really a problem for people who bake often. Even adding a extra egg and milk instead of water to a box cake mix will make it taste more like a from scratch cake.
