Can't Believe We Ended Up At A RAVE at Our Age

On this day, we headed out for a long overdue overnight camping trip. With hot temperatures and a cool lake, along with amazing friends, this night was full of laughter and great conversation.
The only downside?? A very large group raving through the night up until 5am made for a rough nights sleep

We will not ever complain again about how busy it is on the Island. Well.said that it doesn't matter where you are when you have good friends around, Nice touch by whoever is in the white Jeep honking the horn😂. Yay, it was crazy there. Have never seen it that busy. Officially only to return late fall, winter, or early spring, lol White jeep is the "Westcoast Wanderers" Out on the road now for 2 weeks ☺️

This is what happens when places get shared on social media, they reach thousands of people and become crowded/over run/damaged. I’ve been going there for years and seen the insane increase of traffic

It’s hard to escape crowds and the inconsiderate types in the Lower Mainland. Especially as the population keeps increasing and more folks find themselves in tiny condos and townhouses looking to escape to the outdoors. I do think that crowd took a wrong turn and missed their destination of the Shambala music festival in Salmo! Maybe weekday trips could be better, if possible to avoid these situations. However, I’ve always viewed Harrison as a gong show. Especially on weekends with nice weather. I’m in the same demographic so I wouldn’t have enjoyed that extra curricular activity at all. Beautiful spot tho, made even better with like mined friends.
