I’m glad You found Norway lovely. Regarding paying for the ferry ride, You will find an invoice in the Mail in a month or two. They took a photo of your registration and will have your details. That was a corona thing, they stopped charging the drivers and sent invoices. And it is a fine way to collect the money.

Thank you, Norway was amazing I’ve been before with work but never this far north. Can’t wait to come back. As for the ferry I hope so. From the information we read that was the idea we came across too. We signed up to the Epass24 and registered our vehicles as the foreign vehicles and Inputted and photographed all the documentation needed. Still no sign of the ferry or the tolls on our accounts but hopefully we get the invoice in the mail at somepoint

Fantastic looks great How's the batteries holding up with the lack of sun
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
No issues at all and that upside the induction hob a few times a day and using the air fryer.. Lowest I’ve been is about 49% SOC on the batteries but daily average was going between 60% to 80%. Each day I would normally consume about 20% of my state of charge and also regain 20% Soc. In the UK, solar makes up 75% of all Energy produced for the van, the other 25% is normally B2B from the engine or occasional hook up. Up here solar has made up about 20% and the rest is B2B. Which is fine for us since we are driving quite a bit of day. Future I might put in a second battery to battery charger as I only have 30amp one

Great footage, amazing adventures. Fantastic commentary. Would also love to hear (in another van build update perhaps) changes you would make to the van build. You mentioned the extra battery to battery charger. What about practical information such as finding fresh water to fill up, in these remote locations you are staying? How long the water actually lasts? Certainly a video idea when the trip is over.
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
That’s definitely the plan! I’ll probably do a shorter dedicated conclusion to the Nordic countries video on the van. Where I look at the van & how it’s getting on and things I might change.
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
I deafly already got a list on my phone of things I might change not because I’ve actually found anything bad just because I seen how things could be improved
@bntambridge3 жыл бұрын
@@MispronouncedAdventures Exactly. There should be nothing bad because everything was well researched, designed and constructed (we saw from your videos). However, there is also room for improvement, things you don't think about or things that you find living in the van. (that I can learn from your experience) :-)

@@MispronouncedAdventures I have just started converting a ford transit and was considering a system like yours for my shower. However I have heard people struggle with changing the fillers alot and the water feeling silky or slimely from the shampoo and conditioner. Have you had any issues like this? How often do you clean the filters? Thanks very much for the reply
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
I have a video about shower maintenances. But generally I replace the filters every 6-8 weeks. I find natural bar soaps get screened out better therefore blocks filters fast. Whilst your Shower gel type don’t block the filters as much but guess screeners out less. But as I change the water ever 4 showers I doesn’t matter too much

Hi David. I run the KO2 in 225/75R16 115 on the standard 16” Fore transit Alloys. Slight change in diameter from factory which make the Speedo real-world accurate, and no rubbing issues whatsoever

How do you carry enough water to have sutch long showers. Great video, like your style of filming.
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Thank you I’m glad you joined the video. My van uses a recirculating shower System I built. Whilst the shower is running the grey water from the shower is being cleaned through multiple sedimentary filters , carbon filter and UV sterilisation. So the total water volume is around 15L for the shower. I replace that water every four showers normally. Effectively whilst the shower is running its infinite hot water. The vans freshwater tank is only 70 L in total and the hot water one is around 18L. There are some videos on the build part of my channel showing how it was made
@bomax10663 жыл бұрын
Thats Brilliant so Its a closed system.. looking forward to you next video.
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Yes it’s it’s own water system, isolated from the fresh tank. When I drain the shower hot water tank to replace the water it can then be refilled via the fresh via valve

Hey Alex, I thought I'd found you via John and Mandy's channel but then saw that I was already subscribed! Must have found you a while ago. Very interested in your latest van conversion. I was bothering J & M last week as I have been over thinking a move from our current (self built) T6, to a LWB VW Crafter. The T6 is so easy to drive and I'm just wondering if the larger vehicle can be a bit of a pain - park ups and small road travel etc. You appear to be very fastidious with your build but, is there anything that you wish you had done on your latest conversion that you'd recommend us doing in a Crafter? Also, I hope you don't mind us borrowing some of your ideas - I will certainly give you a shout out if I do. Cheers and happy travelling. Mal and Ruth (and Raffy, the dog).
@MispronouncedAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Hello, glad to hear you must of already found me before! But thank you for commenting. I don’t think I’ve ever found a park up ( potentially excluding urban ones ) which the van has not fit it’s or that access for a larger van would be an issue as I generally always sleep in outdoor park ups . But even for most urban ones van would fit and still fits in the normal supermarket car parking. As for anything I might potentially change, I would’ve made a bigger cableway between the Front of the van and the rear. at the minute the shower room makes it hard running new cable. In the event I wanted to retrospectively add anything such as a second battery to battery charger. So I think that would be the plan for potential future upgrades, making accessing to wires and changing things possible
