Omg I had my sew in installed very similar to this back in the early 2000's by a very popular hairstylist at the time. I was so excited. She sprits and blow dried my roots with pump it up spray and then sewed the hair to my hard sprits roots. That stuff broke my hair completely off 😔 I was heart broken. I went from shoulder length to having to get a pixie cut. Could have just been my hair experience. I never went back to that lady ever again.
@Efe-isaac2 жыл бұрын
sorry about your experience love, she shouldn't have done that. If any gel or hold spray is going to be used, the roots should be tacky but still soft, that is not completely dry for the stitching.

This method is a waste of time. You can't even wash your hair! Yall better not let a lazy stylist convince you to let her do this kind of sew-in. You know when the tracks slip she is going to have an attitude if you keep calling for her to re-install it! The old school method is much better!

I must say the caption is spot on. “Braid less sew in” this is good for me my hair is relaxed and when I braid my hair it breaks right off in a weave. So this is good for me.

This is great! I've done my sew ins on clients like this before who's hair is too thin and can break from tight braids. Sometimes I put flat twists to the scalp and sew into the twists that's a better method than this but it's a great time saver and budget friendly for those clients who want sew ins for cheaper than braided install! Super nicely done!!!! I work in a salon that specializes in 4c hair so this is a new technique like the other video you did for then braidless crochet style I cannot wait to try this!!!

I usually do braidless sew in for my clients, but with microlinks. They prefer it over traditional especially when their natural hair is thin. Tape in extensions are also another good option that doesn't require braids and they last a couple of months with proper maintenance

@danaysiaturner529 Жыл бұрын
Basically I'm an expert on all techniques of hair extensions except crochet. I wouldn't recommend this technique even though you can do what you want to do you can try it if you want, but this particular technique should have a braid and so the hair is beautiful and when it's in you will want this technique to last, so a braiding and sew, or a stocking cap method with sewing the stocking cap down before you glue the hair on the cap would be better. The reason why I say this technique is kind of iffy it's because leaving the hair loose like that and sewing the hair onto loose Hair will definitely cause hair loss because when you get ready to cut it out you're going to be cutting more of your hair because your hair is not braided away. It's easier to cut it out when you have a brain and soul method because you can actually feel the thread in between the braid and you know what to pull up with the scissor but you can't feel that with loose Hair and also it's going to get messed up faster because the loose hair is going to push out quicker you don't want to lose weight when you have pretty hair like that in your head. The style is not going to last long. But to each his own.

thank you. For your question are you asking about a vixen styling?
@B1Queensland2 жыл бұрын
@@Efe-isaac yes, vixen styling. While you removed the rubber bands I thought whether it could be versatile considering the leave out.
@Efe-isaac2 жыл бұрын
@@B1Queensland sure! you can definitely do a vixen install with this although vixen wasn't the focus of this install, I concentrated on a middle part leave out and hair around the perimeter. So if you want to do a vixen, wheter its 4 section vixen, or half up half down , just part out the specific leave out area you want first before sewing in the bundles so that you have the appropriate leave out for how you want to style it. There will be leave out through out regardless as you saw with the rubber bands because its a braidless sew in. The leave out with the rubber bands is solely for the purpose of sewing in the bundles. So to do a vixen style, part the specific leave out you want to style it as first. I did a vixen using microlinks you can watch how I parted for vixen to get an idea here kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHvHZmSObptrra8

cooperating a hair net at the base of the pony and encasing the ponytail you can make a beautiful updos but first you have to put bobby pin anchors around the ponytail a distance away from the base of pony depending on the length and thickness of hair, create your bun and with bobby pin use bobby pins or hair pins to secure making sure you go under those bobby pin anchors, your updo will hold firm and secure.❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦

@theresawinters2744 Жыл бұрын
Well I am a licensed expert lol and I’m always going to have questions and concerns about extensions. Yes I do them. However, you just never really know the home care. You don’t really know the tension the extra attention that’s being applied to these additions once people return home. Even what people consider to be protective styles, yeah; like someone else said in the comments ”they’re not really protective styles”… because of what you do to your hair to hide it and or cover it up. There are a gazillion techniques out there to beautify enhance one’s head and they all come with the off chance that something could go wrong. I noticed that the individual in the chair her edges seemed to be a bit challenged now while we could say that’s from tension, a form of alopecia…one thing that we don’t take into consideration is that if you’re a woman and you’ve had a baby, well, that pregnancy could have caused those edges to be gone or become more challenging or more weaker because keratin is being pulled from your body and given to the baby and your body pretty much says you we need to nourish this baby which is why it’s imperative for women to take their prenatal vitamins, as well as continue two years past the delivery because it takes two years for your body to return from having a baby not any of that. I just know that it doesn’t matter what we do to our hair you’ve got to take care of it. No matter what state it’s in, what enhancements you’re adding even if you’re putting chemicals coloring whatever you’ve got to take care of your hair, you’ve got to take care of your scalp you’ve got to take care of your body. You can only do so much externally, but a lot of it comes from internal check your meds. Read your side effects.
