Nice seeing this podcast . My name is Randy Hall and I was featured in the movie as the “Rock Star” on stage in the gym scene. @@cranford69 She was raped and also had an equestrian accident in her last Film and was Hooked on pain-pills and over dosed. I met her at a Resort in Phoenix, Arizona. She was so sweet to me ---It blew me away!!!

@@cranford69 Drug overdose. She claims she was raped at 15, just before the movie was filmed, which supposedly lead to hard core drug use. But she never reported this to the police so not sure how true it is or not. She had also resorted to car dates to support her drug habit and had been arrested 3X. A real tragedy.

That Tucson High School buiding(s) Had its 1st students in 1924. A lot of movies were filmed in AZ in the 80s. New Mexico started offering big tax breaks and AZ got very few since. Love this movie still

If you look closely at the cheerleading practice scene at the HS, you can see people picketing in the background. The film was made using non union labor and the union guys were upset. But they only picketed, no violence or threats of violence.

Very interesting conversation. I did not know Darcy DeMoss was Amanda Peterson’s guardian while living with Movie Nutjob Wings Hauser. I can’t help but think Amanda Peterson’s parents should have still been parenting Amanda. They made a truly bad decision to let her run free in 1980s Hollywood. Amanda should have been a big star, making a ton of movies in the 1990s and 2000s. I just don’t get that after the success of Can’t Buy Me Love she was not sent a box of scripts to pick from. She was a hot actress who needed a better agent. Oh what could have been.
