I think you might be PRESSING L1 (Or whatever your block button is) and flicking down when you should be HOLDING the block button down (The whole time) and flicking down. If you have been holding the block button down it just means your timing is a bit off which was a problem for me early on too but once you get it down its easier then parrying. Ya I wound up figuring out I was supposed to hold it in next session of uploads but I appreciate you taking the time to give the tip all the same
