The tiny home should definitely be independent living (bathrooms & kitchens), and they should definitely not be cheaped out on (amazon). It's a quality investment that needs to be durable and withstand time. ❤️

I think a tiny house would suit Jamie, her own room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, you will all be close by but it will give her the independence she needs. You are really rocking the concert surprises Aaron and Crystal. Jamie is such a sweetheart, surprising her with Mariah Carey Christmas concert and you all dressing up for it, was wonderful. So happy you chose number 1 outfit and got Jamie the same, you both looked great. Loved Aaron's T- shirt and Hanging with my Gnomies sweatshirt too. Blessings.

@@michellesteffen6332 I also commend & give Jamie my upmost respect. It must be so hard to live with your daughter, but live as if's she's your sister, watching the people you now call mum & Dad bringing her up. I totally appreciate it was for the best, and I respect Crystal & Aaron for taking them both in, and making them a part of the family. But maternal instincts & love for the child you carry are so strong. Even with developmental issues that Jamie lives with, her heart, love, and bond with her child, will still be so strong. I'm so happy that through Melinda, Crystal & Aaron found Jamie, and the little bundle of joy Aurora. It shows true compassion, empathy, love and respect. They have a much better life than what could have been. Jamie is such a sweetheart. Years ago in my family, my nans generation, my nans aunty had a child before marriage, and because it was quite taboo back then, my great grandparents bought up the child as their own, so she was my nans sister, instead of cousin, and her natural mother was her cousin, instead of her daughter. It was all spoken about & openly discussed by the time 1970s came around. But, whilst doing our family tree, for both my mum & dad sides of the family, I discovered a few "secrets" A few "shotgun weddings" as we say over here in UK, married quickly just because of pregnancy, and a few family members who raised grandkids as sons/daughters, and even family who took in & raised children from outside of our family, for example a farming couples grandchild, was raised as a son of a great-aunt of mine. How times have changed hey, certain things were very taboo back in the day. I have 2 sons, and i'm not married, I've been single 14yrs, my choice. I sometimes wonder what IF I'd of had my sons years ago, during my nans generation, I'd of been taken away and put with another family, or my sons would have been raised by others, just to save embarrassment. Totally different to this day & age. ** Sorry, I typed an essay & gave you my life story. I do apologise, I just like speaking about the differences in past and present. i got slightly off topic, but if you read my whole reply, thank you, I appreciate it xxx

i Love the idea of the independence it brings and think that if you really do like a tiny home village type back yard to take in pregent youth, that tiny homes would be a great idea. I also think that to build community, accommodate special needs,yet build Independence having a bath room and a mini kicten in each would be nice but have a other small unit with a full kicten and dinner table, for people to gather and learn to cook and grow together. Maybe even tristin could teach them how to cook and eat right,as i know a lot of people leaving the foster care system dont know how to cook or eat well.

So happy Jamie, will be living in her own house. I think since Jamie, will remain within the family unit, her house should have a living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. That would be so special for her and be permanent solution for independent living. All the other adult children eventually will most likely get into permanent relationships and move out. Happy Tiny House hunting y’all. God bless the Pettit Family and doggies too!😅❤❤❤❤❤

Definitely need a bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom & small lounge. The tiny houses people build from scratch, or using trailer axels, oh and mobile homes. We’ve got a 3 bedroom mobile home by the sea ( I think in US you call them trailers) it’s like home from home, my friend has a 2 bed one, another friend has a 1 bed, with en-suite, beautiful kitchens, some even have half baths, ours has a shower room & sep toilet. The lounge is lovely. Ours still looks like a caravan/mobile home, it’s 16ft wide & 42 foot long . Big trucks transport them to our holiday park. Here in UK you can buy a 2 bed one 2nd hand for approx 4k-8k, and some people on our holiday park have covered the mobile home with UPVC that looks like wood panelling. We even have radiators, obviously it’s gas & elec. we use a big calor gas bottle. Our kitchen has full stove, dining area. I love it there. As I said though, even the 1 beds are lovely. We also have wooden & UPVC chalets, they are approx 20ft wide and 40ft long. I’d definitely live permanently in our mobile home or a chalet. Even when my boys were small they had a twin room to share. I had a twin, and my parents had the double. **** sorry for life story, just explaining my personal experience, and how many options you have. 😊

2:34 Is the whole point for everyone to be together or for each person to be independent? If the point is to be all together, then why not all be under one roof? If the point is to be independent, then each tiny house should be a stand alone unit.
@Hondasmama2005Ай бұрын
They want Jaime to have something that is also independent so she can be on her own at times but he real close to Crystal and Aaron if need be. I'm thinking a bunch of the kids will want this too. The house they plan to buy has the land to be able to add a few of them from what little footage they showed. I'm sure some of the tiny homes could be 2 bedrooms for a couple of the kids to share since alot of them like to still be together. I wonder if they do have enough space if Alex Tristin and Max will get one as well. They could buy it together and use their parents land to put it on. Of course they'll have their own hookups for it so they'd be responsible for all the utilities as well. I'm sure if they look into it there is an Internet that can be spread across all the land so they can share that to cut back on each of them having their own. Unless that ends up being cheaper in the long run having their own. If I won the lottery that's what id wanna do have the main house with a few apartments attached with a D'catio (dog and cat patio) in the middle so they dont wonder off but can still soak up the sunshine and outside. Then have a few other tiny homes scattered for rentals for friends and family with their own utility hook ups so they'd be responsible for their own because I'm not paying theirs! Lol charge them real cheap rent plus utilities. That way they still get a renters rebate at tax time and I get a rental property tax rebate thing as well. And it'd be 100% legal so if something happens whoever is at fault can be held accountable etc. Also id want a pet rescue with a doggo cafe and a kitty cafe so people can come hang out with the fur babies looking for their forever homes. And they'd also have a dogio and catio attached to each of them so they can have their outside time as well but still be safe. Id have an area for a dog pool even. Then giant sand boxes for potties for the kitties lol
