About a year ago I saw Mariska in her first movie, it was playing on one of those retro stations. I forget the title but she played one of the teenagers trapped in a house besieged by some kind of monster. Another retro station had what had to be Mariska's first appearance ever on tv. It was an episode of the old Merv Griffin talk show. Mariska's mom, Jayne Mansfield, a stunningly beautiful woman too, came out on stage with 4 or 5 small children....the youngest was a toddler nicknamed Mariska. She had to have been less than 2 years old. Up until I saw those 2 appearances I had only ever seen her on Law & Order. Even today, a very beautiful woman, her mother must be proud.

@@alexandraanderson3988 ha. Yes. I laughed one time in the entire ten years( aside from stupid teenage laughter when you laugh at every line). That was a scene where Ross and chandler stole from a hotel …. In season ten? I prefer the later season episodes ( 9 and 10). Always hated Joey. Terrible idea to give him a spinoff. They should have given it to Lisa Kudrow at least or doubled the pay for the people that passed on it.

Alot of shows that were only aired for 1 season in the 70s,80s and 90s.most cuz they weren't that good.but this was a pretty good show! And love Nancy McKeon and Mariska Hargitay.just wish Nancy was given more roles or at least a long lasting one like Mariska got with Law & Order SVU.

Funny you would say that. When the folks were casting the show FRIENDS the part of Monica came down to just 2 actresses: Courtney Cox.....and Nancy McKeon. True story. For whatever reason, they (obviously) went with Ms Cox. Something to think about: Ms Hargitay is most famously known for her role as a police officer. After this series folded, Ms McKeon would move on to star in a series as a......police officer. If you get a chance, look for The Division. It's sort of like Cagney and Lacey....but if MEN were the minority officers instead of women. And want more crazy coincidences? Ms Hargitay's character works with a guy called Elliott on Law&Order. On this series, Ms McKeon works with a guy called Elliott.
