As an Early Childhood Education and I am married to a Nigeria so I understand the culture. Hold your baby if you support the attachments and make them feel secure when the turn six months you can slowly help them be less dependent. Imagine not being able to talk or do anything and crying is the only way you communicate and when you call you are ignored. Please hold your baby they are only small for so long.

Kudos Stan. You did great parenting. With regards to Jaybobo sleeping, I sleep trained my kids once they turned, at least, 6 months. It is not common in the Nigerian culture but it worked for both my kids. After 5 months, my kids never slept in my room. I had a baby monitor and kept watch on it. I used the Ferber method to sleep train and my kids have been sleeping through the night since 7 months in their own rooms. Disclaimer: this worked for me and I am not recommending to everyone. There are also different kinds of sleep training. All the best.

Parents life matters. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, you guys have to change his sleeping cycle. wake him up early in the morning, feed him, bathe, and keep him up for a bit and get him accustomed to a day routine. The more that he is up during the day, he will expend his enegry and be sleeping in the night. My second born was like that.

For nanny duties it's 11/10, you are super amazing and Lolo is blessed. Story of my life. Am also in Canada and put to bed about two months ago, my baby is super attached, I carry so well though tiring, I can't stand her crying and ignoring just cause I want her to be independent. At birth, they even recommend skin to skin contact with the baby as much as possible. Though it has it's clinging consequences like my brother's daughter here almost 7 but can't sleep alone probably cause they didn't put her away early enough. That's how I want to pack for the trip they told me not to that I will shop, to spend a dollar 💰 is like commiting a crime for me cos the hospital bill is not smiling 😊😊. Congratulations to you guys once again.
