It felt surreal. Last night I was experiencing insomnia, so I turned on the TV and opened KZbin in order to see some Bob Ross video and try to relax myself. As soon as the app loaded, I saw in front of me the thumbnail of some random youtuber asking me if I was having trouble to get to sleep. I felt interpellated, so I clicked on the video and watched it. What a wonderful and relaxing experience. The music, the camera work, the light, your narration, everything creates a cozy atmosphere. This video feels genre breaking, KZbin wise. I couldn't quite categorize it but it's honestly SO refreshing to watch. I feel so relaxed. It's aesthetically pleasing, in a "comfy and safe at home with family or a family friend" kind of way. I miss feelings like these.
