To get your BX25 magazines to run better, get a KIDD extended latch plunger and spring. It will hold the magazine tighter and keep it in correct alignment, which is the cause of lots of feeding issues.
@judgesfiveeight2 жыл бұрын
THIS, big time. Or, even just the Tandemkross magazine release spring (they come in a 3 pack) will tighten up the stock plunger so that the mags hold significantly more positively/consistently.

@Mini Bike Morgan You're thinking of their AK, CZ, ACR, B&T and HK triggers. With the first four coming in at $499.99, and the most expensive being the HK at $699.99. While this is a pretty steep price, I'm sure the people who can afford a HK, aren't going to sneeze too hard at this price. As for their AR-S1 and AR-C1(one I also own), these are slightly cheaper than the aforementioned triggers, at $429.99. With their 10/22 trigger being their cheapest trigger at $299.99 MSRP, which is what I paid+tax at the local gun store. Also, I've preordered TWO more from Brownells for $269.99 each+tax and shipping, which came out to $582.73.

I do a lot of 1022 shooting, both light strikes were on the first round of the mag. I suspect with the lightened recoil spring, it didn't drive the bolt all the way home. Sometimes they'll do that on new mags that haven't worn in too. Pushing the bolt home with your thumb seemed to help

Speaking of the 60's, Ruger has had since then to address some, to me, issues on the 10/22 like last round hold bolt open, not great trigger, crazy way to actually hold the bolt open and difficulty loading the magazines. Thank you Maglula. I was gonna ask if ya'll had reviewed the binary trigger buy lookin at the comments I guess not. Did see it on BUDK web site for $100 less than MSRP of over $300. Two other things that influence feed and fire issues are return spring on the charging handle and coating of the ammo you purchase. A while back after completing multiple upgrades my 10/22 began to misfire after I had taken about 200 shots. it was very bad, only 1 in 3 would feed correctly and fire. First thing I had noticed was the Arguila high velocity bullets had a VERY heavy wax coating that developed about an inch diameter ball from the wax that was crumbling off and sticking to my fingers. Thinking this was the primary culprit, I cleaned everything to have improved to about 1 in 3 would not feed/fire. Thinking that the bolt was cycling too fast I put in a heavy duty spring from Kidd which entirely resolved all feed/fire issues. I've since fired a couple bricks worth of 22lr and probably haven't had more then 2 that failed to feed/fire. I primarily use CCI min-mag round nose, BX25 magazines and it will consistently split match sticks at 100 yards.
