Agree. Bring Jameis back on 2-year deal, draft Oline and Dline heavy in 2025, get rookie QB in 2026 and sit him behind Jameis for at least 1 year. Or we could even bring Flacco back if you want but I think Jameis is very similar to Flacco but younger and probably more durable.

The Browns will probably win 5 or 6 games. They still have to play the Steelers twice, the Ravens in Baltimore, the Bengals in Cincinnati, and the Chiefs. Plus they will probably be without their best cornerback for the remainder of the year. This team isn’t going anywhere. They only have 2 wins and people are talking playoffs, they are dead last in their division.

I just don’t understand the logic that the Browns draft their next franchise quarterback. A team needs to have in place to bring up a young quarterback…regardless of the unknown player’s talent…what winning system do the Browns have to offer a young player, it’s not like the team is packed full of talented offensive coaches. I’m afraid that even if they draft someone with all the potential. The team will squander his talent. Joe Flacco was a player /coach that’s where his success came from. Joe was calling his own shots. And the Browns even managed to muddle the gift that Flacco was. They better not drop the ball on Winston. The fans are getting more volatile as the mistakes pile on.

The Browns have yet to develop a starting QB without a quick and bitter end as a result. The let Flacco walk cuz they didn't want a QB controversy. Winston is likely to play about as well as Flacco. Will they let him walk cuz of Watson? Not this time... but I highly doubt Winston would want to come back, even if they finish the season strong.

In the here and now, the Ravens defense isn’t great. Winston won’t be back next year (unfortunately) regardless how he plays. DTR may be a career backup which isn’t a negative, as he seems to a good team player. I wonder if they would take a flyer on Anthony Richardson (I assume he will be cut or traded for nothing) or Bryce Young to fight for a roster spot and start the rebuild in 26 or 27, as the QB’s are not great.

Yes they can …..but not playing Winston when Watson got injured in Bengals game did cost them a win I believe. They are 2-6 Let’s get 1 thing out of the way Baltimore or Pittsburgh is going to win Division and the other likely gets #5 wildcard at 10-11 wins or more . That leaves 2 wildcards left What’s nice is we have the wildcard contenders on our schedule. We have the chargers and Broncos and they are both ahead of us in standings but we beat them and we have head to head . Outside of that there are a ton of 2 and 3 win teams in AFC If we beat the chargers and the colts lose next week the browns are only 1 game out of wildcard spot . Realistically Browns need to win 9 games to get in . Ur gonna have to beat the teams that are in your way and the teams u should beat They need to beat chargers and Broncos They should beat saints and dolphins They get Baltimore in week 17 who likely will be resting starters. There’s 5 wins that are very possible The other 2 Split pit Beat the Bengals who u own So losses predicted from here is at Pitt and Kansas City at home . There is a possibility 8-9 gets us in with a lot of teams below 500 this year . I’m predicting we go 8-9 but miss playoffs by 1 game and the DTR experiment in Bengals game bites us …..but going 7-3 with Winston gives us promise for next year ! I wanna be wrong but 9-8 80% chance to get in 8-9 30-% chance Steelers or ravens will take the top wildcard spot. The other 2 are realistically Broncos, Colts , Bengals , Chargers, Raiders , Dolphins and Browns fighting over it . We have to beat the Chargers and Broncos for sure to have a shot !

Managing the cap is Berry's business, let him figure it out so they can sign Winston or another veteran. They needed to be 6-3, minimum, going into the bye. The back 8 looked like the tougher slate of games overall, and the Steelers resurgence solidifies that now. That said, they made the playoffs with Kelly Holcomb and Tim Couch after starting 2-5 in Davis' second season. Anything is possible, but this feels like a 6-win season at best. Go Browns
