Can a defense be elite when San Fran, Buffalo, the Cardinals (snicker) and Green Bay absolutely demolish it? Plus, except for charity from the refs, they lost to the Lions as well. Dallas defense: good against weak to mediocre teams and wretched against great teams that stand in their way to the Super bowl. That's a tough reality to overcome.

I'll say what my friend (biggest vikings fan I've ever met) told me. He's happy they got rid of Zimmer, even with all the vikings are dealing with. What he said was "best of luck with Zimmer Dallas." The main thing he didn't like that made him give up on this season already was cousins leaving. Zimmer leaving gave him a tiny bit of hope though.

What do u mean they're not on par with teams that can actually draft?? Dallas is a top 2 drafting team in the NFL and has been for about a decade now. Talent ain't never Dallas problem. They are an undisciplined football team that turns the ball over in the playoffs, doesn't stop the run, can't run, and gets out coached by anyone from the Shanahan tree. The entire offseason has been about addressing those issues. McCarthy has got to fix the penalties, Dak gotta fix the turnovers, they added real LB's to help with the run, added run blockers up front, and got Zimmer for that Shanahan tree. We gotta wait and see how it all comes together
