May I mention that Draghi was not the first who raised this issue. The Hungarian prime minister, the „bad guy of the EU“ Orbán has been warning the EU leaders about the EU‘s competitiveness for at least two years suggesting many changes very much like Michael also suggested. Unfortunately as Michael mentioned everything is political in the EU instead of common sense. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this @Michael.

Hahahhahaha... NO EU cant be saved! Although most of the findings and conclusions are correct - the measures and the way to solve the problem are even worst then what we currently receive from the Brussels fascist. Only one thing should be remembered from this report: PREPARE FOR LONG AND PAINFUL AGONY!!!

As someone who is working in the AI space, the AI Act with being proud of regulating something to death that is just in the roll out / making has been especially fun, also puts every start up in a bad place that has no own division to deal with that stuff, so it hits startups again, and works perfectly in combination with GDPR, to make things extra hard. Let alone that the slightly delusional goal after completely sleeping on digitalization, the EU is supposed to become a leader in AI 😂… The only thing I notice is that I do not have access to some models tech / and would not be allowed to use it, thanks to all the red tape. To be fair, I do not want the cyberpunk dystopia that is the US model and some rules are important to ensure a good life for the citizens in all these areas. What I never get is how they always build up these absurd barriers, especially for small / mid-sized businesses and startups, and deincentivize all initiatives besides being an employee, who works for the companies which are magically there. Sometimes as I am under the impression it is not only lobbying, but because may of the decision makers have never been entrepreneurs, and their only job has been politician or government employee, and they are used to collecting their 20k a month, and consultant job afterwards, no matter if they show up at their job, or not. At lest you often have the feeling normal economic reality and challenges is no factor that is considered.

Draghi's report identifying specific projects and sectors where investment should go instead of letting businesses figure out which projects to put their investments in 😅😅😅 They don't understand. The US on the other says "here's a tax credit

Just having the word Union in the name says enough. Centralists I just rebranded communists. Socialism big government... Fat bureaucracy... Eventually they will run out of money, your money.

The EU is the world's no. 1 regulatory superpower. Big Tech US has to do what the EU tells it to do, even when it means applying those rules to US consumers, and rightly so.

I WANT the EU to collapse. It should never have been built in the first place. At the same time, Europe is honestly the best place in the world by far. So I WANT to have an EU passport. However, dropping a cool million to get a Malta passport and then a few years later, the whole project mercifully blows up, I'll be left bag-holding an overpriced passport for a small over-crowded island in the middle of nowhere! You see the dilema.

As a citizen you have obligations such as military service and taxes. What Plan B citizenships have few obligations and do not burden you with Bureaucracy? Ideally it would also be a citizenship that you can pass on to your descendants. Caribbean CBI programs usually include children but cannot be passed on beyond the first generation

It's a bad joke… subsidies will not fix structural issues. Deregulation is cheaper and can create more relief for businesses to operate while furthering innovation… but since its a command economy we want it's a command economy we shall get
