I hope Mousa works all summer on this three point shot,so we can move him to the 4.

At this point, if we can’t keep a healthy starting 5…you might as well trade who you can. What’s the point of having 3 injury prone “starters” who can’t stay on the court?

The fact they lose so many close games is a reflection of the coach. Lee will have time to turn it around, but so far he has shown himself to be wholly unremarkable. He's constantly getting out coached

brother were missing 4 scorers. Its his first year coaching as an actual one not assistant. Like bro hes been here for a few months give him some time whats he supposed to do in crunch time shoot instead of cody or brandon and hit the 3 or whatever?

Yea buddy trippin. The fact we’ve been so close in so many games is a miracle alone with all of these injuries

The best comment I've heard is about the Disabled Player Exception from Grant Williams' injury: "Where are we going to find a disabled player?" We need someone in the front court that can give us a defensive presence (and the occasional 3). But with Miles and Salaun out we're also bereft of swingmen. Reggie Bullock is a name that jumped out at me. Keita Bates-Diop and Danuel House. Gallinari? Marcus Morris? These are more questions. Long story short, its looking pretty dreadful as far as using that exception goes. Landry Shamet?

Now I would like to point out one huge factor here all these random fans and people saying that the Hornets were losing because of LaMelo I hope they’re all eating their words and now it’s falling on the coach finally showing that he really isn’t a good coach and he is the problem because all the people who know about LaMelo Ball knows he’s a great player and knows it’s all because of the coach How do you make it to the play in two years in a row with Borrego but you lose this year horribly with supposedly a good coach who was under pop.

if this makes any difference i watch every in market game the hornets are on which over my 3 years of fandom have been the wizards and that one play in game vs the pacers. i have never witnessed a live win. Im literally a lamelo ball fan at heart but this team is so depressing like I'm literally begging yall to trade for a dude like vucevic or ayton. plz for the love of basketball just 1 (oneee) winning season.

They don't want to succeed in crunch. It's a strategic tank job. Dangerous strategy because they don't know Melos' actual window of tolerance. I don't think Melo knows it right now, either.

Honestly if they gon do that they should trade lamelo at that point is just sabotaging your superstar
@CharlzzzBzzzАй бұрын
I think Melo knows, and the reason is the green light to take 15 shots in a row.. It is not good for the team, but Melo gets good stats, probably gets into 3rd AllNBA team, and a good team for the next year. It delays serious play until next year, but this draft is that good and if Hornets get into playoffs they lose their pick, which is the worst long term outcome.

@CharlzzzBzzz Melo is like 22. He don't know yet. It's not an indictment on Melo, but on 22 year old people.. lol

Hahaha, yeah, maybe.. But if that is the case, it will be a good learning point for him, as he will realise that 50p from him does not equal a win. He will need to realise what he has to do to start winning in a bad organization (e.g. Devin Booker in the early years when he would drop 70 in a loss, and needed 2 to 3 years for the people to change their perspective on him). Hopefully, he learns how to win in Charlotte ;)

Hey man, chill. It has been three games since Melo has been out, you cannot plug out your point guard of 35min/game and expect immediate wins. That being told, I was one of people who hated watching Hornets when every attack is Melo 1on1 or 2on2, but I have always mentioned that the problem is with the coach who allows AAU type of offense for Melo, hence all of those hate comments are actually towards Lee. The issue was never with Melo that he is selfish or bad player, it is that he could have been even better in an actual competent NBA offense, with less usage and more confidence in his teammates and that it would be good both for watching and for the development of young players (see the stats of Salaun after Melo was out). Anyway, nothing happens overnight, hopefully Mello returns soon, and Lee becomes better coach with implemented better offense and we are all happy.
