Can the LYZRC L900 Drone Really Fly Well Over 1.8km? - Distance Telemetry Accurate or FAKE?

Hi, I just purchased this Drone as my beginner unit and wanted to say first off thanks for the upload however I fail to see how poking an antenna of this frequency through plastic would help? Not to mention the orientation on both antenna are in the horizontal mode from factory. You just gave it an imbalance, meaning you now have a transmitting antenna vertically polarized and the receiving on horizontal a total mismatch. I would like very much to see how it preformed from factory. Thanks man.

Thanks for watching, I've had an increase in range on other toy grade quadcopters like this in the past by exposing the antenna, the one on this drone is horizontal and all you have to do is tilt the transmitter flat and forward to make that horizontal to match up with the drones antenna, I did not during this flight because I had to show the telemetry screen, in my previous test the drone didn't go as far as it did on this flight which was a total of around 800m when it flew over the river. On some other toy grades I've had an increase of a couple hundred metres flying range exposing antennas on the transmitter and the drone also. Its worth a try IMO

For a drone that lacks the ADVANCED technologies, it's an awesome drone. Has a professional flight performance in my opinion. When I first started interacting with drones (in the last year); my first thought was: "these are not made in the U.S." 😂

Hi. Great vid. Hello. I have some issues with the l900 pro drone. Whenever I use the drone with the app it seems that it cannot gain altitude. In fact it goes down in altitude if I dont hold the throttle down. But when I dont use it with the app, i.e just starting the drone and the controller and start flying, it works without any problems. The downside is that I cant use the camera nor the GPS. Do you know what the problem might be? Thanks.

Had the same altitude issue. Got to shut down drone, switch off remote, close app and Wifi and restart process. Only use app that that comes with drone module. Scan n dowload

HEY PERTH WEST My Drone is a L900 and I do the Calibration on it But when I get it ready for Take of it does Not take off instead it just goes off to the side and crashes when its meant to take of and HOVER but it Doesnt do that like I said goes and crashes Any Help Here

Looking for a good beginner drone. I had the Eachine e58 but it wasnt that good and one of the motors went bad. Was wonder which do you think is better for the prices and judt better over all. Jjrc x17 is a much better drone than this L900, it has a much better camera and 2 axis gimbal also

Yes it seems a few of these budget god drone manufacturers are programming the transmitters and even the apps to read false distances to coincide with their fake distance claims on their online listing specs. This drone has a limit of about 600m at best, that is what I got on my wifi FPV distance range test on this same drone earlier in the year. Thanks for watching Ryan 👍

Nice job testing and exposing this. This is a new low for the toy grade drone category... exaggerating camera quality is one thing... programming the transmitters and applications to show fake distance number is another.

Thanks John, when i stumbled across other channels claiming 1.8kms plus i thought that was not correct at all and more than likely click bait videos, so decided to test it out myself and i am not surprised at all, there are a few brands and models of drones out on the market now in this price range that fake their stated claims of distance and camera specs as you know.

Hello! I really loved this video and it is sad that its a lie, its an amazing drone for the price, but this telemetry is not reliable. But, can you make a review of the 4DRC F12? It claims that it has 2-3km fpv, and the rc controller has a telemetry, and I am planning to buy this drone, it is almost the same price as the LYZRC L900 with one battery, brushless and GPS, could be legit, because its from 4DRC, its a well known drone company but I would love a video to fully confirm this.

I noticed on my flight the return seems very fast like it's a jet very strange the only drone I have that fly's back very fast it did well on the range test for what it is to be fair for a cheap drone great test ✈️✈️😁👍

Nice video Had this drone about 18 mths biggest draw backs are not range but latency and video quality could suggest a cheapish drone with not bad video quality and that can be reliably use FPV or should I look at 2nd hand mavic mini at a little higher price.

More than likely the wind had a part to play with it as it was weird how it yaw's to the right once it hit 500m, i certainly didn't touch the yaw stick at all, was only pitching forward the whole time 😆

On a different note i think manufacturer had feet in their mind for max range for their product while Sales must have felt meters sell better🙃

I did say 1124m though! but the distance is false anyways cause this company messed witht he software to try fool people thinking they are going further than the drone really does. I have tested a few drones like this with fake telemetry readings, even on the apps they run on as well.
