@@jidearojo I'm not a jet expert but I'm pretty sure the hornet can only go supersonic for a short period of time. Over longer distances a private jet could actually have a chance. Same thing with the tornado and condorde, yes the fighter aircraft was faster but had to give up because it's not built to sustain those speeds.

In real life the AMG ONE did lack battery on the straight, "only" topping at 325km/h and 310 while passing bridge, here the AMG ONE did +337km/h at bridge.. so the GT3 will beat the AMG ONE in a more realistic condition

At most, that would slow down the laptime. It'd be enough for an overtake nevertheless. GT3 wouldn't be able to regain the lead on the remaining corners without divebombing. If we're comparing only laptimes then the simulation is futile. Just pair the record vs a GT3 qualyfying lap and call it a day.

This sim might be not perfect, but the times in rl show that it would exactly happen this way. Amg one needs 6.29 for a lap. A gt3 racecar needs 6.30 from exit of gp track to the last corner of nordschleife during qualify of the 24hrs track. So you have to add few seconds for hole lap of isolated nordschleife. Laptimes are nearly the same.

Da ist der GT3 wohl vom Gas gegangen. Wenn man die Passagen vor dem langen schnellen Streckenabschnitt anschaut wie der One am,, rudern,, ist weil die Reifen ihr Limit erreicht haben und der Abstand ziemlich groß zum GT3 war kann ich das nicht glauben das er gewonnen hat. Zumal der GT3 auf einmal recht langsam war.

That's a stupid comparison. First of all the AMG One is build with F1 technology. It has over 1000HP and active aerodynamics (it helps with breaking). The GT3 hasn't an active aero and has only 680HP. This is why the GT3 could stay ahead in the challenging first part with lots of corners. The Aerodynamic of an GT3 beats the AMG One in these fast and slow turns. But in the Highspeed parts over 1000HP can not be beaten by 680HP. The aerodynamic of the GT3 (often driven with more aero at the nordschleife) makes the car slower at highspeed. I don't see any sense behind such a comparison.

The AMG One is such a farce! 1,6 l V6... combined with elctric engines... Yuck! If I had the money for such a car I'd have it revamped completely: kick out these electric engines and the 1,6 l V6 and have it replaced with a V8 or V12 engine! And the cockpit.... I'd throw out all the digital displays and install a classic cockpit, with analog displays and physical buttons!

sorry .. but the video seems kinda fake. especially in the beginning when the amg one is behind the gt3 car! the power to weight ration of the GT is like double to the amg 1! its 1.66 for the amg1 to 2.3 for the GT3! and yes sure .. aero is equally important .. but at least at the beginning the amg1 should have got the pole! and most important .. at the beginning of the race .. when the aero and the air aint at the proper temparature it doesnt work well! lol
