Lamar didn't play terrible in the first game, but the Steelers had a good game plan. They held Derrick Henry to 65 yards, the Steelers defense had two turnovers to the Ravens zero, and the Steelers controlled the clock for 36:22 to the Ravens' 23:38. As good a Lamar is, this is a team game, and though it certainly would appear that the Ravens are a better team on paper, the Steelers have PROVEN that the only thing that matters is what happens on the field, and since 2020, the Ravens as a team is 1-8 against the Steelers, and while it's true that Lamar only played in 5 of those games, the Steelers also had a combination of a washed up Big Ben, Mitch Trubisky, Kenny Pickett and Mason Rudolph. All that said, this is still the AFC North, and anything can happen, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers continue the winning streak, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens won.

So, going into the first game against the Steelers, the Ravens had been averaging 31 points a game. Yet, the Steelers held them to 16 points. Sure, some of that is on Justin Tucker missing field goals, but the result was not a fluke, despite many people, including professional analysts who get paid handsomely to evaluate games implying that was the case.

Why is it when the Steelers play its always how the other team didn't make plays, people were open yada, yada, yada... Pittsburgh also had people open, and missed throws etc.

You know why? These media folks spent years getting beat up by the Steelers when they played in the NFL or watch the Steelers beat up their favorite teams growing up. They don’t like the Steelers and it’s really evident

I agree. And not just that, but look at the praise that Lamar and the Ravens are getting for destroying the Giants, yet when the Steelers beat shitty teams, then these analysts are quick to point out how bad the other team is. Look at the Bengals win a couple weeks ago. The Steelers beat them, and Russell Wilson outplayed Burrow head to head with the better stat line. But, all the media talked about was how poor the Bengals defense is, which is indeed true. Yet, those same people are now talking about those same Bengals as being dangerous in the playoffs if they make it. The constant moving of the goalposts is simultaneously ridiculous, and hilarious. As a fan, I shouldn't care at all what other fans and the media think about my favorite team, and ultimately I don't. The main thing with any of these analysts that annoys me is their inconsistencies and double standards, by criticizing one player/team/coach about a specific thing, yet giving a pass to others who do the same thing. And I realize that this is their job, but it sure would feel good to prove all of the doubters wrong. Go Steelers!

George Pickens is NOT a WR1 but he's the Steelers no 1 option which is a big problem. The Steelers should be looking to sign either a FA WR like Tee Higgins, , Vet like Keeanan allen and/ or draft a Wideout. Dependance on Pickens is the problem because his game only works with certain QBs. Not every QB can throw a moon ball

@@YuBuggn Im yapping? LOL, Let me shut you down real quick. In 3 seasons Pickens highest amt of rec 63, highest amt of Td is 5. Yes he had over 1100 yards last year because he wasn't the no 1 WR. Diontae was the no 1 target which explains why he had 86 catches to Pickens 63. If Pickens didnt get hurt he was trending to catch 70 -75 rec and 5 TDs with about 1100 yards. Thats wr 2 numbers .
