Just a thought Tom, have you thought about possibly doing a video with Eddie and asking him for pointers? Your a monster already but I think if you excel your mind with someone like Eddie, you would honestly smash his record in the next 2/3 years easy
@andrew98115wl7 күн бұрын
Maybe there would be some difference in the way they lift becauseoftheheight difference? I don't know much about deadlifting.
@sgaf977 күн бұрын
@ there would be slightly yes, but all deadlifting more or less the same, it’s easier for people who are smaller to lift due to there being less pull (gravity) then someone like Tom being 6’9, would have to strain more because of height, saying that it’s still the same weight regardless of height, but strength wise, no one compares to Eddie at his peak (maybe Brain)
@maxa88386 күн бұрын
Would be great to see 💪🏻 What Eddie did and how fast, how much was ahead of time at deadlift, would believe he could give great advice's how to progress fast, physically and mentally 🤌🏻

@HenryMullens8 күн бұрын
I remember watching Brian Shaw doing almost any big lift, if he spent a longer time than usual setting himself to do it, he would usually fail the lift. Not that I'm in any way comparable to anyone at a decent level, but I have a really tough time doing a heavy deadlift if I spend a long time down on the floor - I need to be ready quickly.

I think the only thing you need to improve is your leg drive. You have an insanely strong back, so that isn't holding you back. But your squat is not strong, your leg press is so-so (as seen from Shaw Classic 2023). You need more drive off the floor to avoid getting stuck below the knee and then just improve your lock-out. Best of luck big man!
