It's important to remember that among the Arabs living in Palestine that a portion of the lost tribes among them. These are descendants of those cities that were given over to the king of tyre for goods for the temple. Judah, Benjamin and Levi remained as well as refugees from the other tribes who managed to escape south. in the north mostly the nobility and wealthy and useful people like military were taken to Assyria. Basic farmers were left behind to keep the land profitable for the conquer Assyrians. These mixed with left over Canaanite people until the ottoman empire converted them to Islam by force. There are still families with Hebrew names among the Palestinians as well as Christians living there even now. Even if converted they are still under God's protection and will be brought back to the Jewish faith.

pt 2.. The OT is a very confusing and illogical piece of literacy where the translation from Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Hellenistic and Roman languages renders the English translations (for want of a better word) inept. I am multi lingual myself and find my mother's tongue is lost in translation in literacy, philosophy and satire when trying to translate to English. Absence of vowels, grammar etc between the languages in my view makes it all sound illogical.

"inspired gnostic" remember when Jesus Christ was tempted by Satan, did Christ not state clearly -- man must live by every WORD of God?? and the New testament came 300 years later and even then the Roman church prevented anyone but priest from reading it for 1260 years --- so the only Word of God in existence at that moment was the Old Testament. ​@@ToddSauve Revelation has 22 chapters, you need to read the last 2 to find what happens after the millennium. Revelation 1:6 has us being kings and priests unto God as well before Jesus return in verse 7 so how you interpret prophecy makes a big difference into what you think it means. 2 Peter 1:20 warns against any private interpretation (anything that doesn't agree with all of scripture, see Isa 8:20 also) so your presumed use of the last week in the 70 weeks in Daniel 9 to base a millennium on Earth is a private interpretation that doesn't agree with all of scripture, see 1Th 4:13-18 for one of many descriptions of the second coming that do not support a secret rapture.
